On this day I decided to make Filipino chicken adobo. I chopped up the chicken drumsticks into little pieces so that they cooked faster and easier to eat. I peeled both the white onion and garlic before slicing them both up into smaller pieces.
You get oil, heat it up and then add the garlic once the oil is heated up. When it is hot turn down the hear to medium, add the garlic and stir. Keep an eye on it, and keep on stirring to prevent the garlic from burning. You want the garlic to turn brown.
After browning the garlic add in the onion. Stir the garlic and onion. Add the chicken drumstick pieces. Let the chicken cook a little before flipping. Once both sides cook a little you add the water and soy sauce. Right after that you have the white vinegar and peppercorns to put it. For more added flavor you have the kaffir lime leaves. You let the adobo cook for another 25 minutes and it'll be done. Once done pour the adobo over some hot rice and you'll be good. Enjoy.
