'Christmas Cartoon' from Castle Films (Featuring an early 30s Terrytoon), Fleischer's classic 'Christmas Comes But Once a Year' (with Grampy) and Columbia's 'The Bon Bon Parade' (1935) from my old beat up, lovely 16mm Kodachrome print. Have a happy holidays everyone!

The opening of "Christmas Cartoon" makes me think of my parents having been from that era (1940's), though they didn't have fancy 16mm sound projectors to watch these on.

I got my projector ready with new bulbs for Christmas Eve. I have to project it onto a posterboard. We will be watching my moms 1959 Christmas (she was 11). Also I snuck 2 blurays of yours, for me, into my Christmas shopping. Lol. Now I'll have 4. Really great work, Merry Christmas.

Oh this is a wonderful holiday wish for all of us, Steve. Thank you so much for everything you do, here’s to 2023 and hopes that things will be even better! Either way, these are wonderful memories, especially the animation of course.

Wow! The first one is “Christmas Cartoon” by Castle Films from 1942 (0:00). I have the 8mm of this since it was silent with inter titles that I got off of eBay a few years ago. This is the same version with sound. Thanks a million!!!! The last one is “Bon Bon Parade” (17:48). I have this on Super 8 which was in black & white and it was silent with some inter titles thrown in with “A Columbia Favorite - The End” closing. I hope that “Bon Bon Parade” need to be on MeTV in the future during “Toon In with Me” where it will have a full restoration. Too bad, this print of “Bon Bon Parade” is not in the best of shape, and the ending title was spliced out by another “Color Rhapsody” closing title. BTW, “Bon Bon Parade” was featured on TV as part of the “Ruff & Reddy Show” and “King Leonardo and His Short Subjects” in the early 1960’s.
