That square spot, could have been a wall tent pad too. A lot of those old trapper's cabins and things were actually tents. Same with mining boom towns, no real buildings at all. You should swing a metal detector over that.....might be glad you did!

RIP 555 .. Very nice to see you young feller. We have had warm winters on and off my whole life. Back in the 70,s they used to say we were going into an ice age . For the same reason as GW , boy they sure are smart LOL. Man we use to get some big snow . Of course I was a lot shorter then.
Ya, back when I went to school that is what they were teaching us, another ice age was coming. I believe that they don't really know. Just guessing. Happy New year to you too. Wow that's quite a coyote trail. Caught twenty five coyotes with leghold traps, perfect conditionsas far as keeping them functional but now we got a bunch of rain and some snow so I put out some rams today. Time to switch things up.

Had not heard the news about Dwayne but suspected something was a foot. Only a just a fan but he will surely be missed by many. Good to see you though doing your thing and great to get a vid from you. The cattle are loving the mild winter I remember some years like that in the 1970s growing up on the ranch in Montana. Was a bummer for trapping but made for less problems in calving season with a bunch of healthy cows. Happy new year to you and your family brother keep up the good work.

I feel like I lost a friend with Dwayne passing away. What can I say? No snow down east either. My snowmobile may have to stay stored for another year. My brother who is 74, just got over covid. His energy is sapped but he is bouncing back. Stay safe & we'll see down the trail.

He was taken to soon. I believe he was 62. He was diagnosed with cancer and about 2 weeks later, gone. Always tell your loved ones that you love them because we never really know. Thanks for tuning into my show and commenting. All the best to you in 24. Keep moving forward.

Been a rough end of the year for you.. no snow is going to make for a rough '24. Yes, it is just one of mother nature's weather cycles. Sorry to hear about your friend and fellow trapper 😥 We lost an old farmer here on the 28th. I didn't realize, he made it to 94 years old. Pretty good 👍 Pretty cool cabin sight! Ya, so sad. Earlier this year he was talking about his plans for the trapping season. Sometimes the Lord just decides its time and he cuts us down. His Cancer diagnosis came quick. I still can't believe he passed away. He is missed and i know everyone misses him. I didn't know he had cancer. Back in november i was talking to him about doing a roadtrip on my bike to go see him.
Ya, he had cancer in his bones, kidneys, liver, lungs, and lymph system. It hit him hard and fast. He was taken to young. His memory will live on with his many fans and friends. All we can do is keep moving forward. Thank you my Friend.

Yes global warming is real. It's been a lot warmer here in NE Florida and you can feel the difference year to year almost. We've had warm winters here in NE Florida 10 years ago we had 3 to 4 days of hard freeze and last winter we had a freeze for the first in 12 years. I'm not a RA RA person on it but it's real sadly. But yeah Le Nino is causing it to be warmer than normal up north for sure and more rain for us this year in the southern states
Hello my Friend. No doubt climate is changing. It's been changing from the beginning of time. In the Arctic they have found fossilized Palm tree leaves. If the elites can turn it into a crisis, then can control the people. When I went to school the scientist were telling us another Ice age is coming. They don't really know but they are good at guessing. It is a interesting concept though and I really appreciate your perspective and input.
