Get away from the internet! Exercise walk on a trail. Talking about life. Remembering my toddler years! YES you read that right! I can remember my life as a toddler!
I sometimes go for a walk in the evenings to Chandler bike path in the city of Burbank to distressed not be glue at home on my smartphone or tablet. I too be between jobs. Keeping my mind busy not go crazy alone at home. A job helps to have life balance.
People who are out to rob other people, aren't out on a trail, getting exercise. As for animals/cats, I have been running nature trails for 20 years and have never encountered any cat. Lucky you, not wasting your money on insurance. On the flipside, you know who's the first to "go" if you need insurance money, lol! I remember turning one year old. I have vivid memories of my diaper being changed. I remember everything about being in Hawaii when I was 2. Had the chicken pox and remember scratching my back on the bed. Also remember the hotel, the balcony, the beach (first time at any beach was Waikiki). I remember the plane ride there and back. I remember the stuffed animal I took with me.
Hey Gilbert,I feel like you and me are in the same boat, you a little better than me,you have Jenny,I left my job in 2022 because they eliminated my position,I am living off of my pension I will be 58 on Monday,I can not touch my 401k until I am 59 and a 1/2,I have been trying online to get several jobs but got turned down several times, the on line stuff sux,at the time I kept hearing nobody wants to work,I thought I could get a little security job and be good,I admit I did not try too hard to get a job,I wanted to take some time off.my 401k is smaller than it should be because when I got a divorce in 2017,my ex wife got half.
So Gil have you been paying attention to the strike going on at the ports in the East Coast? If it's prolonged it's goinf to impact thousands of jobs, have you thought about what you're going to do if your wife loses her job? You can'r just stay home play video games and submit applications on low paying fast food jobs and call it a day, you have a house in LA, you have a mortagage and many more bills on top of that. What's your plan B if the wife loses her job??

@@SaL-ep7zb I TOLD YOU, NO LECTURES. The purpose of my LAY OFF STORIES is giving an UPDATE from an AVERAGE JOE. (People like to see how we handle lay offs). This video is NOT a rant and I am NOT asking for anything. THIS IS JUST A VLOG. I dont want to hear any more of what you are assuming of me. And ON TOP OF THAT, trying to throw unnecessary "worries" into me.
