Trying a bit of harbor fishing with mates not done sea fishing like this, All music credits go to the late great john Williams of which im gratefull to borrow a couple of sound bites .
Garden Tractor Boy I can only get better Joseph ,I'm going on the pier next time .fishings very relaxing when I was your age I was out all the time at canals and ponds etc ,but never sea fished but I will get there take care .
Course fishing angler and not tried Sea fishing since a kid 50 years ago, Have a caravan just outside Aberystwyth and down there every weekend, just decided to try sea fishing but using lures rather than dead bait. Anybody out there got any tips
I used to be a coarse fisherman from teens , next time i go down i will try off the stone pier and along shore line to left of it ,But we need word that the mackerel have arrived ,ive got some lures my self and just gonna spin and use mackeral feathers as well ,im itching to catch one ,or 4 lol im not going in harbour again .
I used to park up over the harbour from there by the pay and display parking area. At High tide you can cast off of there and lean your rods up against the railings and sit in the car and watch the tips. At least you'll stay dry even if you don't catch. I did catch Dog fish off there. You need to cast into the boat channel where it's cleaner ground. Also, use old spark plugs instead of leads because you'll lose so many.
Hi yeah ive tried off there to no avail but will try again any tips appreciated like when what bait and what season ,thanks in advance . tell you what i will go with you lol .
I fish the Ceredigion shore quite a lot problem you have is using mackerel baits only good for dogs and Huss if your doing harbour fishing you need small hooks and ragworm be a lot more productive for you if you need more info send me a massage and I’ll help you out
