Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Bait and baiting up for sea fishing is a essential subject very rarely covered, or just covered very quickly and not in enough detail. You've made a perfect tutorial, covering the subject well.
I am not new to fishing however it is really good to see how others bait up and will be using some of the ways you do it, seems just because I have done it certain ways for years doesn't meen I can't learn new ways, and at sixty two years old that is saying something.
Never to late to learn stuff ive been fishing since 1983 and just started using a spinning rod and baitcaster reel two years ago its way more fun instead of hooffing them in 6 at a time on a beachcaster i also got a good few tips off gary like catching my first mackerel off the beach .thanks m8 keep it up
awesome video that trick with the bait needle was really effective as! so annoying wen the bait falls of the hook especially after you nailed a great cast

Hi mate, I've been learning alot about fishing from your videos, I'm fairly new to fishing and really getting into it and enjoying it. A few video ideas as being quite new to the sport I'm not the best, but for us new guys mabye a fish identification video as to be honest the only fish I know so far are codling and whiting! Also mabye show us new guys the best ways to unkook fish from different positions? Gutted hooks etc. Thanks mate and keep up the great videos!
Really informative for the likes of me the amateur getting back to beach fishing. Would like to know names of fish you're catching with baits you use as I still learning what sort if fish are out there. Thanks for video
I'm not sure of any tackle and bait shops in Seaham but there's a couple in Sunderland Rutherfords angling, 125 roker ave Sunderland SR6 0HL and fishing Republic in Pallion retail Park, (located in the go outdoors shop) Sunderland SR4 6TY and if you plan on fishing around the South shields area theres Reelsport, 106 Dean Road, South Shields NE33 4AR.
I seriously need to get back into fishing, once covid restrictions lift more that the first thing I'm doing. Never tried fish baits, lug or crab but had some decent fish on rag. Nothing with sandeels or squid though. Is it necessary to wrap every bait with elastic? I certainly would with eels and crab but never wrapped rags.
Just the big baits and frozen ones mainly to secure them to your hook and stop them slipping down and masking the hook point No need to put bait elastic on fresh worm baits like rag worm.
Usaul a just get the back ov the tension on the pull and a double turn and twist pass thro the hole to Finnish ✌🏼but each to ther own life the idea pelting the dark skin aff the squid al use tgg he at light them up a bit bein white as the dead pigment on the outerskin bein dead an no reakive 🤙🏼
People should dispatch and eat fish as soon as they are caught not play with them or leave them in a state of stress. Good fisherman and hunters try to minimise the distress to the catch and respect wildlife.
