In comparison, Does the 110v plasma cutter cut as well as the 220v? The reason that I'm asking is because I'm looking into buying one. Harbor Freight has the 110v for around $350 dollars. But my local pawn shop has the 220v model used for $350... My only worry is that I only have one 220v circuit in my garage and there for I'd have to run another wire/circuit in order to use the 220v model... But if the 110v cutter can cut up to 1/4" metal, then I'd be happy with that..... I mostly work on small projects, lawn mowers, angle iron, sheet metal, etc... Nothing as big as a piece of rail road track or anything of that nature...
The 110v you have to go slower than the 220v but it still has a clean cut. The 110 can cut up to 1/4 inch. The tips are more expensive for the 110 because you have to buy them from harbor freight. The 220v you can buy a batch off of Amazon.
