Great video, if you have disabled your home-limit on port and pins i think you can zero the machine cord on "Diagnostics" tab by clicking the Ref button on each axis.

Hi Roger, I have everything set up nicely as you showed on the video shown. Everything works nicely (softlimits). But then I closed Mach3. Got a fix saved message and said yes. But when I restarted mach3 everything was gone again. Machine coordinate no longer matched what I had set. Is there another way that I do not have to set everything up every time? hello.. actually im watching your tutorials since last few days and i am a cnc operator i am designing in a 12inX16in work piece but when i performed the MMG file in my wood cutting cnc the cnc has scale up the size of the working area and working in bigger area then the work piece can you help to fix this...Please i am using Artcam pro 9.
Roger, I really like your work. I have a Laguna IQ HHC I want to add the 4th axis. I already have a post that will work and a HHC controller that can work. Can you recommend where I cab buy the parts to assemble the 4th axis? also it would be nice to convert this away from the hhc.
I'm still confused on where you start setting up the limits. Do you have to be somewhere close to center of the machine axises when you start? your video seems to jump at about 15min.

The controller sends out signal pulses and to create these pulses the output voltage must be switched between +volts (typically around 5 volts) and 0 volts (or electronically close to it). Active high means use the +volts part of the signal as a pulse and active low means use the 0 volts part of the signal as a pulse.

@@rogerwebb9600 Yeah I know it works great but the UI looks like it cam straight out of 1995 no debate, just like most other software for machines and stuff.
