You prolly dont care but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I love any tips you can offer me
I have almost every clamp they have! I use them for woodworking ,welding ! I have no complaints on any of them ! The bit sockets are great ! I have a set of standard and metrics in all of my vehicles ! They work great ! I’m a harbor freight junkie !!!!!
Those little magnetized nut drivers are awesome. I use them for driving in sheet metal screws and they've lasted for years. Also, I've used the impact screwdriver sockets with a rachet a couple of times when I couldn't get an impact gun in a tight space. One other thing I'd add to your list is the long reach hose pliers. They work great for hard to reach vacuum hoses. Good video.
Awesome video!!!! The F style clamps are freakin awesome and definitely worth it. I use them at a professional fab shop. The welder vise grips I haven't had much luck with any brand. Irwin and Milwaukee tend to last about a year or more of heavy duty use, but I think I can speak for the majority of welders that welder vise grips tend to break pretty easy. The magnetic swivel slim bar work lights are another must buy for welders. No need to run a cord and set up bulky work lights especially when welding in confined spaces.
I agree. I thing the "vicegrip" style clamps are best for light duty, or more suited for the weekend warrior. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching!
I have had those welding vise grips for years, good for the home welder, along with one of those 90 and 45 degree welding magnets. Also own those cables, I use them to tow broken mowers etc.
Good tips Dennis, Thanks for the Video I’m a retired Woodworker and i agree Sometimes Harbor Freight does have good items for the prices Another plus on Northern Tools. Is they still offer free printed Catalogs that are great for people that dont always have Internet access ? For me i was a Boater for many years and my Marina didn’t have very reliable or fast Internet. So i liked having Catalogs for researching i too use those security Cables for items in the bed of my trucks and for locking items to my Camper trailers frame whenever i need to leave a Campground for a extended time period for items like Bicycles Etc I’m not convinced its the highest Security method but its a deterrent and usually i let my neighbors know to keep a eye out for me and when I’m leaving ! Ive found a cold Beer or a freshly grilled Burger. Is generally a welcomed form of payment and of course will do the same for them if needed ! I always have a pretty good selection of tools in my Campers that can often help someone out if needed
Great video. Impact bits are a life saver. I have a craftsman that bought on sale. I thought it was a waste of money until. Wife makes me assemble furniture. Dude the free Allen wrench and “gummy ball tool” included are a joke. They are similar to yours but with more bits. 3/8’s what i got. Huge. DO you know the model number of the impact nut driver you showed? I’m a JDM car enthusiast myself. Keep working on your content bro.
I ended up buying the 1/2" drive driver bit set to work on the end of my old 1/2" drive Craftsman impact drive that seems to have been discontinued. the 1/2" drive Torx set is great also
That welding locking clamp, I have couple of them. Comes apart when putting on some pressure, problem at the end of the handle where the screw slips. Same thing with the HF torque wrenches. The 1/4" bit drive got stuck in my 1/4" Milwaukee impact and won't release. After disassembling the anvil locking mechanism on the Milwaukee, what happened was the 1/4" shank was deformed due to the impact action. Stuck in the impact like it was welded it. Now I use those HF 1/4" on my drills and better ones on impacts. Other than that, looks pretty good. HF hydraulic tables, plate vibrator, 70 lb jack hammer, sockets the professional line, all pretty good.
It doesn't matter japanese, european or domestic, the automotive industry went to metric system since the 80's if not before and I still don't get why average US people don't realize that standard measurements of the English system went out of use at least 30 years ago
Saul Broa you are right to an extent. Most any modern vehicle is metric. There is still a ton of power equipment that still uses SAE and most older domestic cars use SAE. Even my 80’s built Mustang is a mixed bag of metric and SAE.
I tend to agree with you on the must haves a very excellent use for the large screwdriver bits. Would be. For removing and installing lots of foreign // import car door hinges years ago i painted a old MG B car that needed a doorskin replacement and that had number 3 Phillips screws onthe hinges the only way i could get those to budge was a 2 man operation of a screwdriver. With vise grips attached and us utting a lot of effort into it to be fair i beleive my previous days attempts had actually helped although I never saw any actual movement but i had. Beat the hell out of the fasteners with a manual older style impact tool the next day i stopped in numerous stores in a search for other number 3 Phillis option and happened to find the screwdriver that. Worked as it has a great. Big comfort grip handle and a place to attach a wrench on the shaft it was. A gem I found. In a Ace Hadware store that ive found consistently over the years generally have high quality tools. That can be expensive But when you are in a bind it doesnt matter once i needed a stubby 3/8” ratchet to do something on a boat and again a local Ace was the ticket ironically that ratchet. Has become my go to every time i open that drawer FYI. The branded name on the tool was one i never heard of and i got nothing from a Google search. Because i have looked online to see id they made other tools i may want ?
I've been using those swivel-pad welding clamps for years. I have both the larger and smaller versions and I swear by them. I've had no reason to go out and buy anything more expensive, as they have been doing the job just fine. I also have both the metric and SAE nut drivers. I keep a set in my tool chest out in the garage and one in my tool bag which carries my cordless drill, impact driver, and impact bits. I don't know why more manufacturers don't have magnetized ones, but this was one reason I bought the Harbor Freight version. You're right, it does save you a lot of trouble.
The best deal is the impact sockets!! When they go on sale with the coupon you can’t beat it!! I have beat the hell out of mine on my off road car and they haven’t l t me down!! they call me the harbor freight junkie!!!!
Getting tool advise from Drew Carey's younger (better looking?) brother......nice. Harbor Freight quality is "usually" fine for the home mechanic/handyman. When I go in, I never realized I "needed" so much stuff.
Nothing at all wrong with snap on. 99% of their stuff is top notch. It's just that most people can't afford it... I have tried the hf gloves, they just don't fit my hands, unfortunately. I have to order 3xl gloves by the case from the Cornwell dealer at my shop. Thanks for watching!!!
DO IT ALL GARAGE My husband has a hard time getting nitrile gloves that are large enough to fit. He is able to get nice purple nitrile vet gloves at Runnings that are not too heavy or too light and in a size that fits. He likes that they have a little extra length and a cuff besides the fact that he can actually get them on. They are in the livestock vet section and sold under the Ideal brand and he is able to fit in the largest they carry (the XL) unlike most brands.
Good info. I've never had a bessey clamp. I have heard that they are top notch. I can tell you I am impressed with this one for the price! Thx 4 watching!
Great video and those items should be in every man's shop for sure. I especially like the large welding clamp and could be used on many other clamping items like wood or vynal. I'll be using my coupon on this soon. Thanks for showing us things at HF that we have also walked by a million times. I subbed for your future videos.
Those vice grips clamps used to be only $5. I didn’t know HF started selling those welding f clamps. They look just like stronghand clamps. Do they have a hex shaped end by the handle where you tighten it? Like the stronghand clamps, so you can use a wrench or socket to get it tighter.
I could have used one of those philips bits sockets today putting a screw into drywall for a little less work on my arm lol. I guess that's what I get for messing up my anchor.
You mentioned Japanese motorcycles. Does HFT sell JIS screwdriver bits. This is the screws used on vintage Japanese bikes. stands for Japanese Industrial Standard. A standard # 2 Philips does not engage them properly.
@@doitallgaragetx - Older Japanese motorcycles had case screws notorious for stripping. Part of it was the steel screw would seize in the aluminum case. But also, a number 2 phillips was not an ideal match and tended to round out. I just learned about the Japanese Industrial Standard screwdrivers recently. Did not notice them at the Olympia HFT store but was not looking either. But if you're a tool geek like me, you will want more info. Google or check this link: revlimiter.net/blog/2014/09/the-japanese-phillips-jis-screwdrivers/
Normal silver sockets are chrome vanadium and vanadium is super hard which is why if you use it on impacts to hard it shatters when you mix chrome vanadium and molybdenum it softens the chrome vanadium enough that the metal will deform instead of crack and shatter
I only disagree on the Warrior quarter inch drill drive sockets. I think I presently own three set of both the metric and SAE and all of the magnets have fallen off. I understand that they're cheap, just a little TOO cheap.
I buy alot of tools from harbor freight no problem i will not buy the gold titanium drill bits i got burnedon them as seen on t.v. so i bought them they broke to easy but no problems with any other tools
Also Chicago electric 1/2 drill is super it will drill through a truck frame so dont be afraid of it being cheap they have come along way i seen a video where a guy bought one it had a bad bearing in it well you can buy a high quality drill with a bad bearing take it back and get a new one dont wine about it
northern tool will NOT honor their warranty. bought a splitter with the hoda motor and it would not run i had to go buy a new carb for it locally to make it work. i wont ever use them again and i have spent at least ten grand with them and have spent ore at home depot since...live and learn
Hmm how to sell made in China clamp to Americans. Ohhhh call it burger lol. Up here in Canada harbour freight is called princess auto and there main brand is powerfist so yeah lol
Everything is made in China now. Even craftsman and Crescent. So it doesn’t matter where you get your Chinese tools . Might as well get them cheap. At harbor jank
Harbor freight is fine for most 'disposable' tools... but NEVER bet your life on Chinese made junk... Jack stands.. NOOOO... Hydraulic jacks.. NOOOOOO !! Don't bet your life on a $20 Chinese jack or jack stand...
I recommend you go to Costco to get your glasses adjusted. You pushing them up every 30 seconds is probably irritating to you; it definitely is to me. You probably don't even realize how ill-fitting those glasses are, but an optician can fix them in one minute and at Costco it is free.
Thanks for the tip and feedback! I'll probably just get a neck band with one of those floaty balls on the back and tie them against my face real tight.
Costco will give you a refund if you are not happy with the glasses. Try getting that anywhere else. Perhaps you chose the wrong frames for your face. Not all frames go with all faces.
You my friend are a bad influence on me, you are recommending tools to me that are going to get me in trouble with my wife she says I shop there too much as it is, now you're recommending tools. Now I'm thinking I might need that tool in the future...
#1. Good point/observation. #2. It's MY CHANNEL, that's how! #3. As I said in my video, I'm gonna do a follow up review in 6 months-1yr. #4 Thanks for watching!!!! (Trick daddy luh da fans)!
twn5858 exactly what I was thinking! Also don’t forget, it’s painted black so must me some type of “impact” type material. Check out his impact material toolbox in the background
It was. Glad you didn't mention the HF breaker bars. Yeah they are great but there are already too many videos on those. You mentioned those more obscure items. Nice job.
Bro, you're a troll, I bet you're one of those 45-year-old dudes that still go to high school parties just to tell the teenagers how cool you used to be. 😂
