My youngest bought me a Nostalgia machine 2 Christmases ago (he knows i LOOOVE cotton candy) and i haven't taken it out of the box cuz i know once i do i will blow up like a balloon cuz i won't stop eating it...seriously i could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner🤤!! Now i just have to pick up some sugar free hard candies and give it a whirl! I'll pick up some paper straws too! Can't wait!

Hi! I just started making cotton candy and trying out hard candies in my Carnival King machine. I used Werther's regular hard caramels, and they seemed to burn in the machine and leave a huge mess. Some caramel tufts were coming out the rest of the night while I tried other things. The only issue I noticed with other hard candies was just sugar being spewed everywhere, even with the dome on. Any idea why this might be? I thought maybe the fact the caramels had cream listed in the ingredients, but I'm guessing your sugar-free option does as well. Not sure where I went wrong, but definitely not what I was going for. Thanks!
@@kerisanders5295 maybe her power had more volts and yours had less volts, or visa versa . I know I used to put a receptacle with male threads in my lamps socket for the light bulb on a dim switch and I could play music at a real slow speed so I could write words down when I was a teen ,lol, this was some years ago.
I wonder if cough drops would work 😅 It's allergy season and Antihistamine make me thirsty.
