to get past Screech without damage, you just basically have to look everywhere around you IMMEDIATELY. Don't slowly try to look at it. As long as it is within your FOV, it counts. Basically spin completely around.

I finally realise why Charlie is so "not scared" with horror games unlike other streamers like XQC who are absolutely freaked out when playing this game. The reason is because Charlie only wears one side of his stock earpiece, while other streamers wear expensive headphones. A lot of the horror from horror games comes from the audio and Charlie only hears half of it in lousy quality.

Partially, but it's mainly because he doesn't 'immerse' himself. It's part of his character that he is constantly aware that he is playing a game who has the most deadpan attitude ever, which has naturally made him practically invulnerable to any emotion a game tries to evoke. It's the same thing with people not being disturbed by extreme gore or 'sad' moments in other areas of fiction, because they're constantly aware it's fiction. Also helps he's a streamer who constantly plays shitty games to a point where he's probably worn out and can't really have fun with a game as a game, and not a content piece. He clearly still has emotions, stong ones at that especially with fear like his cockroach fear, but that's because it's real and fear is something that is challenging to control on a dime. It's just like every other job though, do it for long enough and it just becomes a daily task to fill out.

epic tips for this game: lb rb is q and e on mnk, if you hear “psst” just fucking spam look around till you see screech, ambush is distinguishable by his green glow and unique scream, it’s easier to play alone, keys will glow in dark rooms, bandaids will spawn if you/anyone is below half health, and books make a shimmer sound. these are all basics about the game but still could be helpful

Doors is so fun, the intense music of the Seek segments, the ominous ost for Hide. I enjoy each of the monsters and their counters, but ambush certainly made me salty initially. Over all I can't wait for the post door 100 content

There are a lot of good games among the rough on Roblox you just have to learn how to shift through the junk. The engine is also way more powerful than you might think, people have done some crazy shit with it over the years. It also helps that Lua which is the coding language that Roblox uses is one of the easiest languages to learn so you can start creating your own shit quite quickly. The only reasons simulators are so popular is because of how easy they are to make and how much profit they make.
