I couldn't be bothered with the wires, so I just went as fast as I could. Dunking the middle structure is the fastest way of salvaging Exolabs, and that's no different here. There's much more salvage to get by messing around with the wires, but I just don't like them.
Apologies for the overlay not working. Only have the recording with the overlay on, so nothing I can do about that one.

So is it worth just sending the full interior to cargo rather than rip stripping out?

It really depends on the ship and the length of the shift (RACE has some time bonuses that are harder to hit in 15 minute shifts) Exolabs have a massive amount of value attached to the inner hull, which dwarfs the hulls own value, so it makes sense to sacrifice the aluminium value for the time bonus you gain from not spending the time. It's usually worth taking the wires from the wings, but I find that gameplay a bit tedious, so I often avoid it.

Started playing yesterday and was curious about how master shipbreakers worked. Damn. I'm impressed. At this moment I can't even imagine going 1 quarter of your speed. I started salvaging one of those big boys with qasar thrusters and I'm halfway through with about 5 shifts in already. I have been trying to go for the 100% most of the time but apparently it's not worth it?

It *really* depends on the ship! I'd say to carry on doing what you're doing. I can only do this at this speed *because* I know how to take a ship apart fully and with taking my time.
