So that wasn’t Voli lol it was the Ursine they worship volibear and the wild and bc of that their shamans can shapeshift into animals mostly bears but also wolves and stuff like that

Ursine and shaman shapeshifters are not the same, the ursine is similar to the north american werewolf: the wendigo. that mean u sacrifice a part of u to get the power of Valhir
Btw, Ornn is not chilling, he has never forged a weapon since the Frejlord foundation, so thats a war declaration from the gods. Also, ASol is now free from Targon's control, and Pantheon is ascending to fight him. Thats huge thing. Lovely reactiong guys !!
We definitely missed that AGH 😭 After reading this comment we went back to read up on Ornn and yes this is absolutely HUGE. It seems like Runeterra is heading towards an Endgame-like battle where all the major players are going to make their mark. Lots of people are saying this will tie into the speculated Void Event coming soon, thoughts?
Pantheon is probably ascending to fight everyone not ASOL specifically. Also pretty sure ASOL isn’t free unless you’ve read something I haven’t although it might explain who opened the portal if his chains have been loosened
@@lorenzangeles9626 I even doubt that it is actually Aurelion Sol because the last time he used a fraction of his power he vaporized pretty much everything in the zone, including the previous Pantheon, to the point of modifying the curvature of the planet .
@@GMineo Well according to his Bio, technically he's physically form can be as big or small as he wished, but if you wanna know "how big" he can be then yes, he's form are as big as we saw him in the cloud.
Don't know if anything has been said so far, but the forgemaster making a sword? The most significant part of the entire cinematic. Ornn, God of the Forge, has not made a weapon in the thousands of years since the founding of the Freljord. And today, he forges a sword. That's a declaration of war from a god.
YES!! We were not aware of how important it was that Ornn was forging a weapon (excuse our ignorance as we thought he was just mad chillin 😭). That is wild stuff right there and it makes us believe that there is an Endgame-like battle approaching Runeterra soon.
I love how Pantheon only fought with his shield against humans, only lifting his spear when an aspect came in(Leona). Aurelion Sol shot his Voice across to hit Pantheon, because that dude is way too OP for Leona to 1v1 XD. Also, that was the teleportation gate to Targon. The little ones were the Ursine, like the followers of Volibear. Voli was the silhouette in the sky. Sejuani, Olaf and the others are fighting to get to Ornn's cauldron, to get food, which is scarce in winter. That's kind of why Ornn is shown. Thing is, the Ursine stole the cauldron from Ornn, hence the other side is the Ursine. There's a new story out where Taliyah and Kai'Sa meet, and team up to find a nest of void creatures. The cinematic was sort of with that bit. And yes, the big one was Rek'Sai, the queen. Did I miss anything? No I don't think so.
@ImVynn yeah IKR. The last time he forged a weapon was back when the Freljordians first established themselves in the land. It's like he knows of something coming, and is literally preparing for War. Might be why Pantheon is heading to the Gate of Targon, to fight Aurelion Sol? Connected, I suppose.
And also Ornn is a demigod. I think he's brother to the other Demigod - Volibear. And Ornn forging a weapon it mees that he is preparing for war. And Ornn hasn't forged a weapon from decades. Or even thousands of years.
You. are. the. GOAT 🔥 Thank you for all the lore behind the cinematic Grimoire!! Marc and I definitely didn't know any of that and now the cinematic makes so much more sense. We just appreciated it for it's visual appeal, but the lore that the cinematic brings to life brings a new found appreciation. We are especially glad that the little bears were the Ursine and not Volibear himself cuz that would have been disappointing to say the least. I wonder if Kai'Sa is going to keep appearing in these cinematics as like a focal point while the rest of League's lore is unfolding around her? It would make sense with the Void event that is speculated to happen soon.
@@GMineo Well, Kai'Sa is one of the more popular characters in League. But all the stories behind Runeterra and the legends that the characters follow, they're beautiful. I hope Riot comes out with more cinematics that have more significance, lore-wise. And as always, such fun to see your reactions!
RayzorWind our man!! ❤ There was so much lore we missed that lead up to the cinematic. It seemed like Taliyah and Kai'Sa had a close friendship going on there and you can really see the pain in her eyes when she had to bury her friend to battle Reksai. I'm definitely picking up Taliyah after this.
What's interesting about Ornn's presence in the video is that Ornn has been dormant for over 8000 years, his dormancy led to Freljord ending up as a frigid land. Ornn hasn't made a weapon since the founding of Freljord, so him making a sword of all things either means he's making a weapon for himself or for other people.

As he was forced to leave Runeterra, Aurelion Sol was content in knowing that the Aspects were afraid of what he might do next.' this might be him firing the comet, as even Leona seemed surprised and it's heavily implied in the lore that Aurelion and Atreaus will meet, plus the former aspect of war held the reins to Aurelion's crown. Also the latest part of Aurelion's lore states that he is currently (as in the current moment in the timeline) heading towards Runeterra to tip the scales of the struggle of power in Targon, in his favor, so he can free himself. edit: the stars arent aimed exclussively at panth, we can see them descending around the Moutain on everything.

So basically thousand years ago Ornn refuses Volibear's request to forge him a set of armors for his people, Volibear is rageful about this and ended up killing Ornn's followers or worshipers. And now we see in the cinematic after thousands of years, Ornn is finally forging something that we don't know and why, but one thing is clear it is a declaration of war, from the God of forge itself, Ornn.
The little sand-dwelling creatures that first attacked Taliyah and Kai'Sa are the Xer'Sai; Rek'Sai's children or brood. We have no confirmation if Pantheon got hit by Aurelion Sol's Voice of Light, Zoe's attack, Aurelion Sol's crumbling crown, an Aspect, or some random energy blast from space. By the way, the video is canon (I think Necrit said it himself). Yes, Volibear wouldn't be stupid enough to come down to fight the humans. That warrior who looked like Volibear is an ursine who worshiped the Volibear.
