THeir story was the most romantic the thing about dieing and reincarnating and finding each other but out of all of them i love crock and enchantresses story its really cheesy but down to earth ,what scared me the most was aqua mans girl and how she hated the overworld especially when she called humans whale what its called she was intense given she fell in love with someone from two worlds half human and Atlantan but she probably hates how they fill Atlantis or the ocean with trash and stuff so its called for but they shit in the water and eat fish so humans in their drink Atlantean piss so ahh idk maybe her anger is misplaced
Fun Fact; Killer Croc isn't a mutated crocodile, he legit just has a very rare skin condition that messed up his genes. So it makes sense that he's a mega germaphobe
The Superman and Lois Lane segment is adorable. Supes was going through the usual villain busting, life saving whatever. Can't even remember what floor he worked on. But the one thing that really mattered to him was her.
No it makes absolute sense that superman thought it was the 16th floor and not the 17th floor, because most buildings do not have a 13th floor. So when you fly the 17th floor is the 16th floor... thats genius.
You got to understand that even though Entrantress exudes sexiness to entrap men. Croc suffers atavism that makes him take on ancient relative traits. There was no way they'd hook up with anyone normal.
Hawkman talking about beer is surprisingly historically accurate. They had beer in mesopotamia and in ancient egypt, they drank it from straws because some of the solids weren't strained. It was normal for male buddies to go out for beers back then
beer and tea are the two oldest methods to drink safely. I mean, you wouldn't normally boil the water or disinfect it in any other way so they were drank thoroughly because they both had the benefic effect of you not dying
For those who don’t know, this entire sequence is an homage to the movie, When Harry Met Sally. Great film, 10/10, y’all should definitely watch it. It’s probably the most accessible and universal romcoms that everyone can enjoy, no matter their tastes
" I was sitting with my friend Arthur Kornblum, in a restaurant, it was a Horn and Hardart cafeteria. And this beautiful girl walked in and I turned to Arthur and I said Arthur, you see that girl? I'm going to marry her. And two weeks later we were married. And it's over fifty years later and we are still married."
I’m just gonna say it I like how Enchantress called Croc a hypochondriac but in an endearing way not like an “I’m questioning out relationship kind of way.” And considering his whole think is based on a skin condition that gives an almost reptilian appearance why does it make so much sense Croc would be willing to visit a dermatologist?
Its not a germ based skin condition killer croc as ativism its nit a skin condition its a dna condirion it causes genes that normaly are inactive to be active irl it normly causes humans to have primeape tails
Same Croc and June Moone/Enchantress in the comics had a truly wholesome relationship. Waylon/Croc fell in love with June specifically because she saw the real him and she fell in love with the caring man he was and the two actually had an incredibly beautiful relationship for a while, both helping each other as partners and June was even able to teach Waylon how to read and write and Waylon helped June get her dream job in graphic design in New York. For a time in his life, Waylon felt happiness that he finally had someone who loved him for who he is.
You can feel how much love the writers have for the source material, everyone (mostly) is in character. Nobody feels like they're just a reskin. *Bane included.
This entire sequence is inspired by the movie When Harry Met Sally. The director recreated real couple’s interviews for the movie. Genuinely one of the greatest romcoms ever made, everyone, even my exclusively horror movie-loving dad loves this movie
@@goldie1089 Yep. When Superman and Lois were finishing each other's sentences, that made made think of one of the couple interactions from When Harry Met Sally.
That smile baby girl got when Darkseid said he was in love was so evil, I love it. It said "I got the baddest dude in the universe, f with me if you dare."
@@phoenixofthestars07 I choose to believe she can recap any scene from the first 3 Shrek movies perfectly. Complete with the timing for the sound effects.
The Hawk couple/Killer Croc and Enchantress are honestly super adorable. Clearly good communicators, and very much in love. Aquaman and Mera got problems they need to discuss.
Can't go wrong with Michael Ironside as Darkseid. If you can manage to be the only good thing about Highlander 2, then you get to work for the rest of your life.
@@The-Deadite Actually, he kinda does. At least insofar as it sounds like a guy doing a (questionable) Michael Ironside impersonation. But no, it's definitely not the real deal...guaranteed. But hey, I respect that the VA knows who the REAL Darkseid is, enough to make the effort.
THAT'S RIGHT!!! Ironside was the only fun thing going on in that movie we do not talk about in conversation. Man was acting like a Loony Tune and reveling in it
@@arhammuharram1881t's hard to belive that he's got knocked out. He's a New God, they are known to be one of the few intelligent species that can tear appart yellow sun's "powered" kryptonians with their bare hands. Even if mr Miracle is not Orion, or Big Bear, he's pretty tough. But this show is still great 😊😊
@@badconnection4383 In the comics Dinah’s hair is naturally black, but she wore a blonde wig as Black Canary and later started dying it around the time of the 2001 Green Arrow run
It is overplayed and just really cringe at this point. Yeah we get it Hollyweird, you hate conservatives, but ffs, can we have any form of escapism that doesn't include politics?
1:38 “but to me she looked beautiful” YOOO the guy who’s voicing Killer Croc is the same guy who’s been voicing Bane since season 1, literally listen to how he says that line and you’ll hear Bane
@@Based_normie It's o k, it's not racism, but it's still not good. Any form of discrimination is not good. Also she's lily discriminating against half of him because his father was a surface dweller
@@brandonfitzgerald-eo3tkAtlantis and other underwater kingdoms don't like surface dwellers, in addition to their xenophobia and superiority complex there's also some valid reasons like humans polluting the ocean where they live.
Question: We met when she walked into my room and called me ugly. Huntress: No, I said you're PROBABLY the ugliest guy in the world underneath that mask. I didn't just flat-out call you ugly. Question: Well, I seem to remember the sequence of events differently; anyway, I helped her track down the man who killed her family, and.....as she pointed her crossbow at him, I asked one simple question. Is this really what you want? Huntress: It was absolutely what I wanted, but his little boy was standing right there, and I didn't want put him through the same hell that he put me through by killing his father right in front of him. So I spared him, but not before dropping some crates on him. And then our love blossomed from there. *whispers* Don't just ask him what he's wearing. Interview: Question what are you...... Question: Blue overcoat, Blue fedora.....Orange socks?
“Now this was ancient Egypt so she didn’t have much of a choice”😭😭😭 and “back when I went by prince KUFU” bro voice actor was in the booth KILLING it😂😂😂
Honestly as funny as the darkseid one is. I also found it strangely heartwarming ya know. Like aww look how happy they are. You go you couple of evil beings, you.
@@CrazyFaz Well, Darkseid’s got at least a triple-digit IQ, is quite the eloquent speaker all things considered, dislikes misogyny, and is often very honest about his evil intentions…. So I’d say he’s got a couple of legs up from those things alone 😂😂.
It's sad they didn't put the other DC superheroes and supervillains couples like Batman and Catwoman,Mr.Miracle and Big Barda,Scandal Savage and Knockout,The Riddler and Clock King,Barry Allen and Iris West,Supergirl and Brainiac 5,Dick Grayson and Starfire,Roy Harper and Cheshire,Huntress and Question,Renee Montoya and Batwoman,Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris,Nite Owl and Silk Spectre,Green Arrow and Black Canary,Jimmy Olson and Lucy Lane,Connor Kent and Miss Martian,Jason Todd and Rose Wilson,The Joker and Bethany, and Damian Wayne and Raven.
Jason is better off with Artemis, not Rose. Miss Martian and Superboy are only canon in 2010 Young Justice show, in the comics he's with Wonder Girl (Cassie Sandsmark). I would also add Stephanie Brown and Tim Drake there (Lets ignore Bernard's existence), Apollo and Midnighter (they're from Wildstorm Universe) and Wonder Woman and Steve
I love how this is almost a beat for beat remake of that When Harry Met Sally open and close while still being true to the characters. Nice nostalgia factor 😂
i love love love when shows reference old movies! this is a perfect example when shows get it right. they perfectly executed the "when harry met sally" reference!
@@russellmargaglio4948Well…”Planet” isn’t exactly what Apokolips is. It looks like a planet just cause people from the Multiverse don’t have the ability to see it as anything else since they aren’t higher dimensional concepts.
Huntress and the Question would be so much fun here. He would go spout off batsh-t crazy theories about how they met and who might be behind it all. She would eventually shut him up and pull him away by his tie to have sex with him.
I find it so funny that Hawkman and Hawkwoman are voiced by Tyler James Williams, and Quinta Brunson, because Gregory and Janine are often shipped on Abbott Elementary. Plus, one of the executive producers of Abbott also is the executive producer of Harley Quinn.
Seeing as all the superheroes minus Batman got sucked into the Queen of Fables book for a year, i would assume all the superheroes' secret identities were compromised. That said, if i remember correctly, i believe Lois calls him Clark when he flies through a wall to rescue her from Harley Quinn in an early episode.
The joke of him "forgetting" the floor he worked on and job he did was that he was pretending to be someone else, but he kept saying details about his actual job by accident. That's also why he said they grew up on the same street, even though he grew up in Kansas.
