hey Man, appreciate your video and your love for God, but when I push this pulley in it looks like it's not all the on... I see a small gap from the key hole, does that ring a bell because I've been messing with it for days and it WILL NOT go any further😅
Do we need to leave the crank bolt on when we're pressing it out? I am scared the tool will damage whatever is inside so by leaving the crank bolt on, then it presses on the bolt instead. Is that right?
Or you can just use the bolt to put on the harmonic balancer I just did it right. Now because the nut from the kit didn’t fit just do it like if your tightening it and it start going in slowly
One of the bolts on the harmonic balancer puller broke off 😢 any, can't get out with my drill screw extractor, any other idea on how to pull off the harmonic balancer without the puller? Now I just have one bolt available for the puller. 😢
What if the last mechanic who put the crankshaft bolt on did it way too tight, then following your procedure here it rounds out instantly? I could see someone setting this up alone and using the starter to try and break the bolt. At a shop with an impact gun you would be watching the bolt and you could lightly hit it on and off a few times to see what happens. Round that out and you are screwed on the DIY part, be safe.
