I have no sympathy for her whatsoever. She sat there and watched a child get beaten not once, not twice, countless times. She sat there and stuffed her face while Harmony died. She's rotten to the core.

Pretty sure that poor little girl was soiling herself because of the stress of being homeless and living under a blanket in a car and being beat, not lack of potty training.

I've been in court for over 3 years trying to protect my 7 yr old Granddaughter from her addicted parents and her father molested her. The judge said there wasn't physical evidence and the father wasn't arrested. The court doesn't do enough to protect innocent children from abusive parents!!

That poor little girl was born with disability, went to a foster home three times and still returned to these people what is going on with family court???

Every time she says “because I was scared” imagine how Harmony felt you waste of a human 😤

As a child of abuse, I am now a grandmother and there is NO excuse for allowing a child to be beaten - period. I would risk my own life to prevent any child from experiencing this. My mother would put her life in danger and take the beating to prevent our dad from continuing. Fortunately my dad took his own life, but not before years of torment inflicted upon our family. Protect the children no matter what.

Kayla was frightened, imagine being 5 and repeatedly being beaten by your father, she had to be terrified. Kayla at anytime could have reached out for help to someone. The methadone clinic has medical staff she could have asked for help when she was in there alone. They knew she was a drug user and would probably be more familiar on what to do in that type of situation. She watched her husband beat his own daughter to death and chose to stay with him, putting her two baby boys at risk. A parent’s job is to protect your children and provide a safe environment, not endanger them with a known murderer.

I can’t imagine witnessing all this and not intervening on that poor child’s behalf.

Here after listening to her "victim" impact statement where she professes her love for him, and blames drugs, and is more focused on their relationship and the fact that he was unfaithful than the fact that he abused and murdered his own daughter. They're both sorry excuses for human beings. They dont deserve any of their children. They don't deserve to call themselves parents.

Has anyone stopped to think that Harmony may have started having accidents because she was living in a car?? She had nowhere to go if she needed to go, she was probably afraid of asking for a bathroom or she maybe didn’t understand what was going on and didn’t know what to do. Kids at that age can’t hold it as long as we can, they go more frequently, etc. I am sure the abuse she suffered was a part of her accidents but it sounds like they didn’t start until they were living out of a car and that’s a dam good reason for her to have accidents. I heard bits and pieces today that I never knew that made me physically sick. This poor beautiful girl didn’t deserve one bit of abuse, no child ever does.

Getting sober after a really devastating drug addiction is so hard because you then have to come to terms with the person you were during it. I’m sure she is in jail crying because she turned a blind eye to the murder of her children’s sibling in front of them.

When I was a child our dad beat us like we were an adult man. My youngest brother was 4 and me and other siblings would be screaming at him to hit us again instead of our little brother. And this grown MOTHER didn’t do all she could to stop the abuse to Harmony???

Wetting the bed , the car, or other ,is not a reason to punish your child. You need to understand that it is a sign of abuse ..s.a or a medical condition....they do not wet the bed or the car or on purpose to make you mad. They literally cannot control it. You need to seek medical care for your child immediately . You do not punish a child for it.Adults need to understand this because I see this in every child abuse cases. Its sad what a controlling relationship and drugs can do to you. I still couldnt see myself allowing this in that state but unconditionally she needs to be held accountable. Now that shes been been in prison and gotten clean you can see shes realizing everything she did and allowed. Im clean now going on 7 years. And my baby always and i mean ALWAYS came first. I never turned to herion. When the pills i was doing stopped having any affect i was scared my next step was heroin and went and got help. I did things i wasnt and im not proud of. I was in 3 extremely abusive relationships. I know i was scared to leave because i started thinking that was normal. But i never wouldve allowed any abuse to my child. But now later i realized allowing myself to be abused and my child seeing that... I was mentally abusing her by allowing that. I feel disgusted with myself and ill never forgive myself. But i thank god that im better today and ive acknowledged my screw ups. This beautiful baby girl didnt deserve your weakness to be her death sentence. As a mother whos been there... She shouldve done more. Even if she couldnt have left i wouldve redirected his anger at me rather than her. Anything to help her. She died alone and painfully. May she rest in peace 😭💜🙏🏼
