The fact that she calls the police when he hits her, but she doesnt even think to call when hes beating on his 5 year old daughter countless times until she died.

I feel like she's got off to easy, she could have helped harmony, she watched him beat that poor defenceless child to death, she helped him cover up her murder

When my daughter was around 6 months old, her dad beat me up really badly in front of her. The screams that she screamed and the way she responded is what gave me the courage to leave him. The fact that a 2 year old didn't respond at all to a child getting beaten to death is very disturbing

So many people saw the black eyes and bruises, they're all guilty of abandoning that poor child.

I just can’t feel any pity for her whatsoever because I don’t care how scared she said she was of him she could’ve stopped that crap ! He would have beaten me to death before I’d sit there and watch him hurt that precious little girl !!! She’s just as guilty as he is !!!

She got immunity from prosecution?? She watched a monster brutalize and kill a child and did nothing to intervene..

i believe most of what she is saying but she got off way too easy. she didnt even pull back the blanket to offer her burger king and she layed with that monster and made another baby after allowing harmony to die on her watch

I feel like her being in prison for lying to the grand jury doesn’t make her much of a credible witness. I hope that doesn’t end up being reasonable doubt.

So wait, she decided to leave after the fact Harmony was gone but couldn't do it while she was being abused and still breathing?! IMO she's just as guilty as he is. She too will eventually pay for this as well, God doesn't overlook anything.

This woman, Kayla, should never have custody of her 2 sons. She was an accomplice to murder of a small child, her step-daughter. She also was on methadone. Not much going for her in a positive fashion.

Something isnt sitting well with me. Kayla was obviously jealous of the blonde, attractive new girlfriend Kelsey. Around December 2022, Kayla and Adam were fighting over Kelsey. Kayla obviously still loved Adam at that time, hence why she volunteers info about him also being jealous of her (Kayla) messing around too. She needed everyone to think she wasn't the one still hung up on him, that it was mutual. Anyway, Adam then gets arrested during the investigation. A couple months later, Kelsey is found dead in a motel room and the police say it's not a suspicious death. Considering I'm a female and know how they work in the depths of their feelings, so did Kayla spill some beans to Kelsey about Harmony to spite Adam? What did Kelsey really know? It just doesn't sit well with me! Edit: Also, another thing that doesn't sit well about Kayla is her slight attitude problem. It's normal she'd be annoyed at the defense's questions but what rubs me wrong is Kayla's automatic reflex to answer with an attitude at times. That subtle attitude problem isn't regarding the questions; it's who she is at her core. Kayla also isn't saddened that she's here about Harmony. She's sad because she still loves that dickface Adam and that he turned on her. Pay attention, too, to when Kayla's voice gets lower or when the vocal fry gets worse. It's very telling.

I feel bad for the little girl. She had no protection and must of lived a nightmare. This is sad and pitiful how they speak about her abuse with no emotion. Smh.

I really get sick and tired of defense attorneys that know their client is guilty and evil.

They should have never given this monster a deal. She deserves to be in prison for life, where she can never see the light of day again. Same with Adam. The judge that placed Harmony as well as the DCYF worker.

The fact that Harmony was soiling herself over and over and more frequently is a huge indication of bad child abuse. As a stepmother she should have stood up to him to prevent atleast some of it. Or helped harmony not piss him off so badly by taking her to the restroom more often. I bet poor harmony was stuck in the seat of that car for hours on end without toys or seeing her friends ext. probably no entertainment whatsoever

Its shocking what perpetrators can get off with when they have addictions. It can enable some to get away with crime. Imagine the mental torture of poor Harmony let alone the physical. Kayla seems like she could be a very mean person. She gets very testy with defense lawyer. I could see her being evil.... and she is even medicated! 😮

When she said that she and Adam agreed that he would take it all on so she could be there for the kids, that seems to me like she’s basically admitting she had more to do with it than she’s letting on. It could just mean what she actually is saying, about the cover up, but it sounds bad.

Should've, could've... I mean, they were drug addicts living in a car, in the middle of winter, with three little children. He shouldn't have even had Harmony! I'm blaming NH CPS. Foster parents have to go through hoops to even be accepted but that pathetic man keeps his kids? Harmony was in and out of foster care since she was born. Now she wasn't checked on for over two years? Only when things started to make noise, NH CPS began looking for Harmony. SHAME.

Kayla. Not the classiest person. Her demeanor and voice seem detached and flat. However, the state wouldn’t have a case against Adam without Kayla. Her testimony will help convict Adam, hopefully.

His attorney is completely awful. She reminds me of Amber Heard's attorney. Such nonsense questions, spending all that time asking questions to try to "expose" Kayla for lying to the grand jury, when that was already settled and Kayla admitted to it. Utter stupidity. It goes to show that Adam really did do everything Kayla said bcz they'd be building a case on other facts, if there were any; not asking a million questions just about her lying to the grand jury. They have no case for his innocence.

Put yourself in her position, she’s sitting right beside him in the passenger seat. There was nowhere for her to go, nowhere to hide so now the coverup of the murder begins. Once the lie starts, next come the warnings along with the threats and she has 2 tiny babies. She should have called 911 for Harmony. Abused people are simply trying to keep the peace, trying to not stir up the hornets nest. Kayla’s actions proves one lie follows another. There is no end to the mistakes and harm this woman has caused by not seeking help. So sad.

I think Adam did kill poor harmony but I think it happened the night before.. they never talk about feeding harmony any food just the two other children why is that because they knew she was already dead her story about the kids knowing what’s going on doesn’t add up

At some point following the death of Harmony Montgomery, Adam Montgomery enlisted a friend to hire a U Haul van, supposedly to dispose of her body. If it was "squished" into that small diaper sized bag, why would he need a vehicle the size of a van to transport it?
