I think having Helena Shaw punch, knockout & drag a downtrodden, broken alcohol addicted loser back from ancient Rome to present day because he’s a divorced loser, relegates Indy to less than a ‘sidekick’. On paper? In the reviews of others coming forward who corroborate these indisputable facts these “loving” filmmakers so wonderfully signed off on? I think it’s safe to say nobody is “thinking for” this fellow, myself or anyone else who is pissed off that Lucasfilm/Disney pissed ON a beloved, supposed to be heroic character we want to see respected on screen.

I agree! There is absolutely no way that they scrapbooked the story like in rise of skywalker. And they have nothing but absolute respect for Indiana jones, who is a straight white male lead. Disney has never hidden behind their political ideologies to protect shotty films from criticism. All of lucasfilm productions have been on budget and meet expectations on their returns. Also, those executives that have been leaving Disney had legitimate reasons to leave prime executive board positions for “medical reasons” and “pursuing other endeavours”. And they planned on the star cruiser hotel closing after 18 months of operation all along, because that’s how you make money, obviously. People really need to get their heads around how corporations work these days… smh
