I think a better idea would have been to make a sequel to Raiders, specifically, called “Ark of the Covenant” and Indy just is called back as an old wise author because of his knowledge of the Ark’s powers. When you think about Indy was never the star of Raiders, it was the Ark.
This whole franchise has been mishandled ever since the end of “Last Crusade”. It’s really a shame when you think about; Raiders and Crusade were really the only great films of the series. Temple is just ok imo
A reply to Alex Karpenter since for some reason I can’t reply in the usual way, it keeps saying error and won’t post. John is very kind, extremely humble and even reticent to talk about his own music. When I sang in the group on Close Encounters, I told him how much I loved Star Wars. He just smiled and replied, it was a lot of work! I don’t doubt that for a minute. I also mentioned to him that every time I play Yoda’s Theme I’m transported to a beach in Hawaii where I played it over and over. He said that when he’s asked if he has a favorite of his own, that’s it. One time I was at a demo session where John was in charge and I thought one of my takes was a little out of tune and I asked to please do it again. He didn’t think it was necessary and said, it takes a vocal virtuoso to hear that. Wow. I’ve never forgotten that moment. Thanks for your interest.
I didn't know there was a new film, I just checked it yesterday, and beyond my expectations, this film amazed me, the exciting story made me hope that Disney would make a better Indiana film☺️
I just got through watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and to be completely honest I think it was a good movie, some others don't think so for what I've heard but we all have our own opinions on things but I think it was good, too bad that's the last one as I've heard.
Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny: Initially story start slow moving little bit of lack, story concept wise time travel, but we cant except previous films of Indiana like treasures based that is disappointment, even indi aged his stunt performance chasing is outstanding, last one hour very fast moving very creepy to watch overall film one time watchable. 👍👍👍
If only companies could come up with something original instead of all these remakes and reboots. I havent been to the movies in over 15 years because there is nothing new anymore. It's all been done before. Now they have streaming services that cost a lot each month and still just regurgitate the same shit. Entertainment isnt entertaining anymore. They just make the same stuff for kids to watch and think it's something original.
I think the NaughtyDogs guys would have killed this if they had this franchise. They've already proven themselves with a very well designed game mechanics via Uncharted series.

Watching this again after a couple months - some of the gameplay segments look... bad. Like really stiff and awkward, as if you're in a room with one person. Idk, I'm holding out hope, but they way they presented it was not the best. Maybe it's one of those cases where it feels a lot better than it looks. Observing and playing can really differ.
