The billionaire former owner of Harrods and Fulham Football Club used his power to abuse multiple women who worked for him, it has been claimed.
Lawyers representing 37 alleged victims said Mohamed al Fayed was "enabled by a system that pervaded Harrods".
Speaking at a news conference, Dean Armstrong KC said the case "combines some of the most horrific elements" of those including Jimmy Savile, Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.
Al Fayed died last year, aged 94.
He took control of Harrods in 1985 before expanding his business interests to include the Paris Ritz and Fulham FC.
