Focused in and around Mercer County, KY this historic, history-filled episode kicks off with a special tour of Old Fort Harrod.
Liquid stories include Lemons Mill Brewery to sample 24 different brews and a family beer recipe that dates back to prohibition; as well as a sample (or two) of the unique Bum Ditty Hard “still” Cider bottled in downtown Harrodsburg at the Vault.
We’ll explore the many acres of Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, Kentucky’s largest historic landmark. And take a boat ride on Harrington Lake and explore the many aquatic attractions it has to offer, including a jump off Chimney Rock. The episode will wrap up at the charming Beaumont Inn, a former women’s college now the oldest family owned inn in America.
