The Dem party is the only part that has done for the middle class. 1989 - present Democrat jobs 50 mil, Republicans 1 mil. Biden/Harris gave millions of seniors free health care, lowered prescriptions, cap insulin. $16 billion to colleges, 1st admin to make a historic investment in infrastructure and climate change, student debt relief, CHIPS ACT, inflation Reduction Bill, pumping more oil than any admin, Kamala personally marched and fought for union workers, which helps all workers have a voice, fighting for women rights, human rights. And much more. Name 1 thing Trump have done for this country other than create divide.
How about creating jobs and building a strong economy. Not every black voter benefitted, but a lot did, especially under Clinton/ Obama. Besides, the kind of racism that existed in the 60’s was gone for a long time but Trump brought it back. You need to stop thinking in terms of favors for a particular ethnic group. Yes, global inflation should be expected after a global pandemic. The stock markets and mortgage rates are looking better but housing and food pricing really needs to be addressed and it is one of Harris's policy platforms and it is described on her campaign site. Other than across the board tariffs (which would make inflation worse), Trump has no economic policies. While in office, Trump's economic policies, over the long term, only helped the top 10% in the United States and he increased the national debt by a record making amount to do so. For example, on their own, Trump's tax cuts for the wealthy added almost $7.8 trillion to the national debt and that debt load happened before the pandemic.

As a Black person, it frustrates me to see polls claiming to represent us. I've never been asked about my views, and I don't know any other Black people who have been polled either. Yet commentators often assume we all vote the same way, which is ridiculous. You don't see this kind of treatment for other races. Getting someone’s vote isn’t guaranteed. I’m not a fan of Trump, but at least you know his stance. The media acts like Black men won’t vote for Kamala, but that’s not true. Many of us don’t even know where she stands on issues that matter. Maybe that’s why she’s struggling to get votes. It could also be that, for many Black lives, things don’t change much regardless of who’s elected, so some people just don’t care. This was portrayed like a horse race which again takes away from the seriousness of the election, we literally have a guy trying to be a dictator, your reporting should reflect as such.
