The recipe started simple enough, but I got lost somewhere around crocheted bedspreads.

Interesting how Harry's mind works. He contrasts his simple, wonderful recipe with a sudden outrage about an incompetent journalist made something fancy …crocheted bedspread …out of something that should have been simple. Nice analogy. Reminds me of Antonin Artaud
