Never was a huge harry potter fan, but I am one of John Williams biggest fan. As a trombone player hes my absolute all time favorite composer, and I really thought that the movies went down hill after he stopped composing them. So thank you so much for reintroducing some of his themes in a truly ingenious way. Much appreciated.
I was listening to this while reading the 19 years later, and I cried :) I love your use of the themes and how you've woven them together. Thank you so much for this beautiful music!
I love how you had the themes from all of the movies, fantastic! 5:14 and on is a great theme, so forboding and I could really imagine that in the real movie.
well done! u took sum of the best music peices of john williams & nicholas hooper.........& not to forget ur own creativity was gr8 too! its beautiful!
This music is nearly making me cry. Its sad that this series has come to an end, but f it had to end, it had to go out with a bang, which it did. An even though it has now ended, Harry Potter is now immortalized in print, on film, and in our hearts forever.
man, i'm almost crying!! i cant believe its over! i'm such a big fan of the books and movies that i'm havang my first tattoo today.. and its going to be a harry potter tattoo!! I want to thank J.K for writing this wonderful book series. they will always be a part of my life. OMG i think i'm really going to cry now xD so sad its over!
The Harry Potter phenomenon will never truly die. Not when there's a Harry Potter theme park open in Orlando, Fla. as well as continuing merchandise, online fanfiction, books by authors other than Rowling, & cds/dvds.
oh the sountrack is so beautiful I will cry when the last scene comes from harry potter in the deathly hallows will come because I have the tears thank you harry potter 7 years I could inspire me your movies look at and read the books inspired me to read that I could become big you are our generation have been and there will always be grateful for it long you will live in our hearts harry potter continue forever
I really don't want it to end, it's like a part of my life will be gone. I grew up with Harry Potter, and after part 2 there will be nothing to look forward to. I think I will cry when part 2 finishes.
Harry Potter was my childhood! It was always something to look forward to, but now I cannot say that anymore. :'( "Do not cry because its over. Smile because it happened." I will continue to watch these movies and read these books, because it will never get old. In a way, this is just the beginning, "Harry Potter will never end, not really."
Now I know why I cried everytime the last movie ends. Cause they play this song and it was from the first movie and it was so emotional to find that the movies are over. and you have grown up.
All these songs make me cry! the end of Part 2 was... I was in tears! ''A New Beginning'' was just Perfect for this! And after taht, they put the song of John Williams from the First One! it's like if all rebegin again and again!
im 17 and harry's 17 and together we end our long journey together. we've grown up together and i just cant believe now its over. i die inside for the future generations who can't know harry like an old friend, like i and so many others do.
@PatrickTMusic Thanks so much! It really means a lot when people are able to find my influences in my music. I've been focusing more on making MIDI sound good, so any advice there is greatly appreciated:)
@SwedishStar we did the same thing... felt happy coz we wer able to watch this EPIC movie till the end but felt sad as well.. after the movie all of us inside the movie house were clapping our hands & bid farewell.... cant help it coz Im a fan,,we are a fan and Harry Potter will stay in our hearts.. its EPIC....
I cried throughout this entire song. I've never really thought what it's going to be like, to see the end of the movie (the /last/ movie) until now. Thank you so much for such a beautiful, uplifting song. And thanks also go to JK Rowling, who formed a generation and brought to life characters that will always live and breathe and have a place in this world.
One will be crying at the climax of this brilliant series, this has been with me my whole life and it will be sad to see such a great series go fluttering away but one has to close its book at some point. 41 days to go! Thumbs up if you shall be seeing this midnight screening and will be crying. Whoever does not cry is not a true wizard.
@Jeffnumber1fan09 It is sad to see such a brilliant story come to an end, No more waiting for a new book, or waiting for the midnight showing of a movie and jumping up in the middle shouting Dumbledors army. Still it was great thinking of the great times with the books, films and games, We all watched the actors grow up together, and it shall never really die.
@nos0323: I felt exactly the same, I teared up as well at the part of Snape! And tears were swimming in my eyes already when Freds body was discovered by Ron (I have a twin sister, so I can't even begin to imagine how George must be feeling), and when Harry saw Tonks and Lupin lying dead holding hands.... I saw it twice in the theaters, and soon I will go for the third time. It never loses its magic!
@miatthas Yes, theres a huge chance he would. Alexander Desplat is only creating the score for the 1st part. He said if his schedule allows him, he would come back and do the score for the 2nd part.
There's two things I was raised on. Disney and Harry Potter. Disney will always continue making movies but Harry Potter has come to an end but will never be forgotten. And I can truly say that Harry Potter is my childhood.
I totally agree with you Disney and Harry Potter are the ones I grew up with Disney and Harry Potter will always be there for us But don't worry they're going to release Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them next year I'm looking forward to it and so excited
OMG, I can't believe I'm almost crying... I mean, if they really use the main theme from the first movies on a slower version... Ohhh, how I miss that theme :(
very nice, how cool and spine tingling would it be if they had lyrics and a singer for the harry potter theme to wind up the series, something magical like at the end of the LOTR trilogy
I would just like to thank all of you for your kind comments on this video. I just saw the movie, and was highly moved by it. Thank you John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat for creating such wonderful scores. Thank you Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson for creating my childhood. Most of all, thank you J.K. Rowling, for writing a legendary book series. -JD
Now guys km going go miss it to, the long wait for the premiere, the millions of times I watched while it was in theatres, growing up with it..... The part 2 movie ripped MHz heart out and stomped on it when I saw our home destroyed bug hogwarts is still there , forever, in our hearts and we can go back to our memories anytime by remembering or returning to the screen or the pages. :_( long live HP!
@thelettermanv The theme from the first movie can be adapted to sound mature. In any case, the 7th movie is going to have a happy ending(more or less)so I don't see anything wrong with some happy-sounding music.
@miepsliekje In any case, Harry Potter will never be truly over. There's the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando Florida, as well as all the merchandise, Internet fanfiction & RU-vid videos, etc.
I wish it could continue to but all good things must come to an end in some way or the other. :( HOWEVER, I don't believe Harry Potter will end unless we keep the HP fandom alive. :) I will ALWAYS remain a loyal fan and keep the memories alive AND I hope the other millions of fans around the world will to :D
fantastic ending..harry potter will always be in my heart. i grew up with harry and i will end up with Harry. Harry potter is you and I. Harry Potter is all of us and always be remembered as the "boy who lived". The boy who will live in hearts forever. thank you JK Rowling for bring the World of Harry Potter close to our hearts
"And now say good bye with a tear in my eye and I say ' There goes my child hood with the roll of the Credits! Mischief Managed!' " ( a line form a poem I wrote) I am soo sad that its the end D=
thank you so much JK. Rowling for such a great adventure us original harry potter fans will miss harry. we grew up with him and i will be so sad wen this ends, its gonna be so weird not looking forward to a new harry potter film i said im not gonna watch deathly hallows but now i am i have to see it end, i saw it be born, i have to see it end. thank you JK. @miepsliekje I teared up when Snape's truth was being told and when there was all those flashbacks >< MY CHILDHOOD IS SOOO OVER ;_________; i watched part 2 like literally 6 times in the theaters already
its soo nostalgic.... Harry potter just makes ones life better. the story sinks into your soul and creates a sense of adventure. I thank JK Rowling for that.
thanks a lot.....i havnt quite enjoyd the harry potter films after part 3. part 4 & 5 dnt gv the feel of this magical world. i hvnt yet wtchd part 6. i m sorry bt david yates, etc. couldnt do wat chris columbus did....i wud better hear dis music....thanx a lot
Would you happen to have a downloadable version of this? You did a really a good job on it, considering you combined Horner, Williams, Gregson-Williams, and Zimmer all into one.
I hope they put the original Harry Potter musice(from the 1st & 2nd movies)in the last movie end credits. They seem to have deviated from it since the 3rd movie.
