I always buy my shoes a year after release for the best price and value. Having said that I just got the Nimbus 23 and it’s a nice plush shoe. After running in it for a few weeks I think it is best suited for slower paced recovery runs.

I've said this before in your videos, but I like how you guys say if you don't like a shoe. Like, you don't sugar coat it. You will be honest and say if this isn't a brand or style of sneaker that you like or you are not a fan of.

If you want marketing, fashion, pose and flashy soft foams with no support for your feet, choose Nike. But if you want real, quality and trustable runner shoes, made by professionals, with a wide range of options for all kinds of runners, and yes, maybe less "styling", choose ASICS.

Super comfortable shoe that fits very well. The squish in the foam does make you feel a little slower when you're trying to run fast though.

I tried this shoe at the shoe store and it' s very comfortable , but it comes too wide. I have wide feet and still there was too much fabric. But very good feeling.

ASICS did make a full gel shoe, It's called the Gel Quantum 360. They were not a success though, too heavy

so the big differences between this and the lite 2 after watching both reviews: nimbus has the softer upper nimbus is less wide nimbus is more bouncy is that accurate? what specifically made the lite 2 your favorite that this didn't have?

2:36 I think they did a shoe with a whole midsole of gel before... quantum 360? Not a good shoe... by the way. The OCD in me wishes they tied the shoelaces in the shoes in the background for a cleaner look. Who else agrees? Great review!

It was the gel quantum infinity, and it was atrocious. The 360 had a lot of gel but it wasn't entirely gel. The infinity had an atrocious upper, it was insanely heavy, and running in it was sloppy. Not to mention the high price tag. But as a casual shoe it was fantastic! It basically never bottoms out.

@@GGori_99His first one was Nimbus 2000 which McGonagall gifted. It was destroyed when he almost died at the hands of Dementors in the quidditch match, after which Firebolt was gifted to him by Sirius.

I’m 230pounds and have been running in the nimbus for 7years, it works great for my daily runs. But i have startet running faster and the «regular» nimbus is strugeling. How do the cushioning compare between the light 2 and 23?

It feels a lot different (and really is a lot different), but in a good way. Still a lot of cushion and the weight reduction helps a lot. You'll love it.

Really warm shoes, im from the tropics. Very thick upper, what's up with that. Too roomy and some heel slipage. Lacks bounce also. Sorry but previous version of nimbus is better. Good thing i got them for $45 or i would be so mad at myself

I bought the Asics Nimbus 23 shoes for running and it has been a complete disappointment and an absolute nightmare. I had used the shoes for only about 250*kms of running appro, and already the shoes are tearing apart. I had spent a ridiculous amount on these shoes, expecting a good quality product from Asics. Unfortunately, the quality of shoes sold by Asics in India is very poor. What's worse is that the customer care team is unwilling to provide any support, leaving me stuck with a defective product. I urge everyone to be aware before making a purchase of Asics shoes. These shoes are a waste of your hard-earned money and will only lead to disappointment. If you're thinking of buying Asics shoes, think again! Save your money and invest in a better brand that values their customers and produces quality products. Asics Nimbus shoes are a complete waste of money and a disgrace to the sportswear industry.

Asics is like all major shoe/car etc. producers... = the Ford Mustang - awesome & ya gotta pay more for it. the Ford Pinto & others- you can afford.

Women have shorter feet than man on average so they already stand dteeper in a shoe with the same drop (the angle between the insole and the ground is higher in a shorter compared to a longer shoe with the ssme drop). So an additional drop for women makes absolutely no sense. PS: this also shows that drop alone does not mean a lot. You always have to set it in relation to the size of the shoe.
