Harry Styles sits down with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe to discuss the release of his upcoming album, ‘Fine Line.’ Pre-add the album on Apple Music: apple.co/harrystylesb1 #HarryStyles #FineLine #ZaneLowe #Beats1
finally we have an interviewer who actually cares about what harry has to say and asks him about the music and how he feels instead of just asking him about people he’s dated
I love how the interviewer saw that harry was upset talking about his stepdad so he backed off the topic. Literally the exact opposite from the interview of Howard Stern.
Howard was trying to analyze Harry. Old school thinking about men who turn out like Harry, who wear pearl necklaces and nail polish, they must not have a good relationships with the male figure in their life. Lol
i love that zane knows how to read the room and change the conversation. they don’t try to push the conversation to be uncomfortable just to get a headlining breakthrough. they treat harry as every interviewer should… human.

can we talk about how RESPECTFUL zane lowe was being, he was trying not to make harry uncomfortable and told him that he didn’t have to answer. this is how interviews should be.
Being 76 and all, I didn't know who Harry Styles was this morning. Then about 4 pm I began meeting scores of people wearing bright pink feathers at Haymarket station here in Edinburgh. Lots of colour and a good mood, so I came home and google did what google does best.....transported me to someplace new. Google delivered me to this brilliant interview and a taste of the music!! It makes me feel more hopeful altogether. Thanks to everyone: good minds, human freshness, being present. SPRING.
I discovered Harry in early 2023 and haven’t stopped researching since. He’s an amazing human being, the most kind person, so funny (SNL, The Late Late Show), beautiful music, talented actor (Dunkirk, My Policeman, Don’t Worry Darling). I hope to see him live in concert some time soon, I’m 63 years young🤗
You are so lucky to get to know Harry a year ago. I've just discivered him a week ago in the middle of his complete silence. The worst is that a year ago I was in the UK right at the moment when he was touring there. Feel like i'm a looser.
@@annauralochka1999I discovered Harry recently too... I'm enchanted by his work, an incredible artist! I can't stop listening to the songs, watching videos of shows and interviews. He's really brilliant ✨
Y’all are finding it weird because he’s never said anything about his personal life lmao I’m just surprised so many people (shippers) are getting trigged by the word
can't believe i saw this man singing about fruit two weeks ago and now just saw his intro into the marvel universe. i hope he knows how proud everyone is of him.
I was thinking the same thing when re-watched this interview today. It just is full of so much love, inspiration and warmth. To me, there is no other artist who inspires me as much as Harry Styles and it really comes out in this interview. This for HS3 would be a dream.
@@ibrokemyownheart4953 i actually did it to prove to my friends that I could have over a thousand likes in a comment in less than a day, it makes no sense at all.
I have seen Harry interviewed many times. I have never seen him this relaxed and vulnerable before. Zane really knows how to interview him. He has another interview with him that's just as good. I love Harry. He's such an amazing young young artist. I love all his songs and all his movies.
and ummmm i forgot his name but the one who interviewed harry with the heart monitor and I think he is the same one who interviewed the boys when they were together and harry spoke on the voice app I'm pretty sure its for bbc radio
this is my favorite interview because: 1. harry actually answered the questions (shocker) 2. the interviewer actually asked him about him and his music and not girls he’s dated 3. it’s so aesthetically pleasing 4. harry’s deep voice and accent mixed with waves crashing mixed with birds 5. don’t worry about it, everything’s gonna be fine 6. something about being able to see the interviewer and harry made it feel like a conversation between two friends and not an interview 7. literally everything else too
I'm 54 and a massive Harry's fan. I think he's an amazing artist and a lovely person. He's so young and in the same time he's so mature like he was born ages ago. That's why, I think, appreciating his art isn't a matter of age, you don't need to be a teenager to fall totally in love with him and his music. I love his personality. He has such a beautiful aura. It's quite miraculous to me finding myself dancing around my home at 8 o'clock in the morning listening "TPWK" feeling as happy as a child. When I listen to Harry Styles songs I forget I'm 54, I'm just a soul immersed in a pleasant experience out of time. It's beautiful. I like One Direction songs pretty much too, all the five guys have great voices. I can't wait to watch Harry in "My Policeman" and "Don't worry darling". I saw him in "Dunkirk" and in many clips from many of the shows he was in and, yes, he definitely has a huge talent as an actor and entertainer too! Hope to attend one of his concert one day ♡ Take care of you, Harry, you're precious 🌺
So many interviewers like to talk about how people sexualize harry and even sexualize him themselves and you can tell harry doesnt like it. This is how interviews should be, actually talking about the musician and the music and process. It shows who these artists really are on the inside rather than what everyone sees on the outside. Interviews like these allow true fans to realize that these people that we look up to are human and are just like us.
Yeah watched the howard stern interview yesterday, where he sexualized harry way too much saying all women in the world want him and would easily sleep with him just because he is good looking and he will bang his therapist some day....like wtf bro...what do you even know about his personal life and his relations with his therapist.. that you can make such absurd statements about him.
Mark Hemming one of the few pop stars I can truly respect, solid man he seems indeed. Checkout Rub with Hounds band alternative rock Spotify or RU-vid cheers guys
Some timestaps ♡ 9:09 You can practise getting up on the board as much as you want and sometimes the wave just doesn't come. Or the wave comes but you haven't practised getting up on the board enough. 21:11 If you're happy doing what you're doing, then nobody can tell you you're not successful. 44:02 Don't worry about it, everything's gonna be fine. 44:29 I'm just trynna go through life being a little less worried about stuff. 44:39 Cause ultimately, it'll be okay. 49:00 If you get to make stuff that you're passionate about and you get to make something that makes you happy, then you're happy and no one can call you unsuccesful. Which is great. • Each listener will find their moments to which they can personally connect to, I've got mine too. There's so much more that Harry said, which deserve to point out, but I think these are the biggest ones. Hope these quotes cheered your day a littlebit, have a nice one. Love you ♡
Not pinpointing love lives Not invading the privacies An interview of peace with mesmerizing background I love these types of interviews Thankyou so much 💘
Harry. Harry. Harry. Such a class act. Unique and one of a kind. And speaking of kind, the way he spoke about his mom. The way he loves her and looks up to her as the biggest role model. She must be a remarkable woman to have raised such a fine young man. God bless you Harry, may you have years of continued success!!
y'all let's get to one billion views on "drag me down" before 1d's anniversary to prove that we are the biggest, the most supportive, and the best fandom of all time!
This is seriously one of the best interviews I’ve ever seen. Not just with Harry, but with any celebrity there is. It’s just so calming and interesting at the same time. Thank you and well done!
I’m 4 years into a psych degree and can confirm this is a perfect example of motivational interviewing, which therapists use to initially understand patients 😂
@@harrystyles9209 what era you talking about? the hair and clothing style? this is about him as a prerson and hes doing so good and enjoying his life and free to do what he wants at his own pace. thats the best harry era.
When he said he misses his stepdad the most, I truly felt my heart sink. He loved him so much and Harry’s a real person and people forget that. Of course he misses his stepdad I mean hell he raised Harry
That brought a tear to my eyes cause it is true and it sent me to a moment when I felt someone I considered a friend used my vulnerability to avoid showing hers.
daniela p. This is super true cause I been friends with my co worker but I never told her I was Gay... So one day i told her ... "I gotta tell you something"... She stops her car passing a bridge... I was like wow I haven't been this vulnerable since I can't remember... Then I said ..."I'm Gay"... And she goes like... "That's cool, I'm happy for u " and hugs me and kisses me in the cheek... We been great friends ever since ...
@@xxkarlosxxxxxx7233 Vunerability is letting someone see the truth of who you are and your depth no games or fakeness just the beauty of you it creates intimacy. We can have deep love with friends and create deep intimacy that helps sustain us and hopefully we can do that wit ourselves as well.
I came to watch this to learn more about Harry and this album, which was great, and I did. But I also discovered Zane! This is probably one of the best celebrity interviews I’ve ever seen. He asked insightful questions, wasn’t intrusive or rude or disrespectful, and let Harry just talk. Bravo, man!
Everyone who accepts a Howard Stern show interview knows Howard has that style of asking detailed questions about sexual attraction. That's the reality of Howard Stern. Don't want to deal with those questions? Don't go on Howard's show. Harry seemed to invite questioning about his sexuality because he sends signals by wearing a string of lady pearls and a lacy collar. Right now he seems to want to have both sexes fantasize about him. Fame in the arts is connected to gender experimentation.
I really don’t understand how he was always portrayed as the “womanizer” when he seems like the calmest most respectful person ever. Like I don’t have a crush on him, I want to be his friend and have deep conversations with him yk
I don't think that man will ever understand the amount of lives he has impacted. edit: woah i just came back to this comment😂thanks for all the likes🥺❤️
god! yes! i’ve been a fan of one direction since i was 11, a young girl in a small city feeling so sad and lonely, now i’m 20 preparing to become a doctor and i’ve seen him growing and blooming for years now, i feel like we’re old friends hahah i remember his first album came out on my first college year just as vividly as i remember up all night being my middle school soundtrack. I will forever be grateful for harry being part of my life.
What a great interview. I can see how Harry's mom has influenced him as he seems so good- hearted. What a mature minded Man. Best wishes in his future. I pray he stays grounded.
i just spent 49 minutes listening to the most genuine and peaceful conversation while the sun was going down. his voice is amazing even when he speaks and the interviewer did a great job
I never hear him talk this much, it was so nice to get to know him better. He doesn't usually open up this much with interviewers so this guy must have made him feel very comfortable. Bravo, very professional.
What I like most in this interview is that I can see that teenager from X-Factor all the time. His mouth, the way he talks and laughs. Harry didn't lose his essence and this is rare and beautiful.
zane lowe, olivia jones, and james corden are the only people allowed to interview harry. this was so nice & he really let harry take the lead. if harry didn’t want to talk about something, he’d move on. they both seemed so comfortable :)
he remembered so much ab band. it was so nice to see how he enjoyed himself in the band. the memories he shared with us and how eager he was when interviewer asked ab great moments while being in the band. really happy that i can see how much he loves band, the experience he had there is so appreciated. he was like i can remember two great moment not just one. four of them really really loved 1d and i'm so so here for it, cause it changed my life
I really appreciate the fact that this interviewer was like a friend n also professional at the same time. Giving Harry all the time to express himself n never pushes him on questions he doesn't want to answer or anything like that. It was a great interview n I'm so happy to just sit n listen to Harry talk about all that.
I like how genuine this interview sounds, it's almost like a conversation more than an interview. This is probably the best interview of harry I have seen.
Harry saying the same thing about his mom, we are saying about him is so heartwarming and makes me cry. But not in a cool way. She is the kindest person - YES- that's him. This is such a good advice for all parents and parents to be: Just educate by being a role model. That's what he does. This is so lovely and every time when you think, there is nothing he could do or say to adore him a little bit more....THIS!🥰
This interview is very well done. I am late on commenting. Because I have only been a fan since more recently. Actually I was a fan and didn't realize it. I'm 51 years old and kept hearing Harry Styles this and Harry Styles that. So, I looked him up. And he instantly grew on me. His music is soothing and entertaining and songs I knew I loved, but didn't realize who sang them. Learning that he was part of One Direction, even though I'm too old to be a fan of the band. I do remember having some of their songs on some of the Now CDs I would buy. And enjoying them. I remember being in Vancouver when they were there, and I was going to a different concert. And downtown Vancouver was just loaded with teenage girls in One Direction shirts. He's probably one of the most talented people I've ever seen. It didn't take long for him to completely make me a fan. I even looked up some of his concert clips that people shared, and he's hilarious! He's very very entertaining at his concerts. It would totally be worth going to. And of course it helps that with his great personality and talent he has this incredibly warm smile to go with it. I remember looking him up and thinking he looks like a guy that played in Dunkirk LOL. Well done, Mr. Styles. I was already impressed and didn't even know it. You've earned every bit. Thank you for doing what you do and please keep on doing it! I am now 51 years old and a Harry Styles fan.
I'm older than you and was a 1D fan and love Harry's music. Age in a non-factor in being a fan and listener because Harry has maturity and charisma to spare.
I am a 64 year old fan and proud of it!! Everywhere I go I am telling people about Harry. I was in the hospital when Fine Line was released and I had nurses and aids and even doctors in my room listening to Harry! Many of them were already fans but hadn't talked about it, they were all singing Adore You, quietly, as they made their rounds. With this new album, Harry's House, and As It Was, Harry holds the world in his hands!!
47 an I just figured out that the songs I liked of late happened to be Harry Styles' ....including the sweater that I thought was gorgeous....I didn't know it was his.🙂
i actually started crying towards the end of the interview. not because of a specific thing he said. but because when you've been a fan for a long time, seeing him being this happy, so comfortable and confident in himself is so heartwarming. he really deserves it. god i'd just like to thank him for making me so happy over the years.
@42:05 He really was the face/lead of One Direction and he knew it. But he chose to remain humble and quite about his status while in the band and now look where that humility has got him today! Couldn’t be more proud of Harry!
I think he was the main singer, but 1d didn't have a "lead", all 5 of them bring something to the table, like a puzzle that if your missing a pice then it's incomplete. Like harry was the king of the crowd, a natural entretainer, Liam was like the mature one, like the dad but also the older sibling, niall was the baby brother that everyone would fond over for, zayn was this warm and protective brother with beutiful esthetic and a powerhouse of a voice and louis was (in my opinion) the leader kinda, all for of them would just naturally follow him and get crazy and he had this special relationship with everyone of them, he kinda united them.
Harry was the FACE of 1D. Harry was the star. That's why 1D continued after Zain left, but folded when Harry refused to sign new contract! Without Harry after 2012, they'd be no 1D
I'm just a Kenyan girl who loves Harry Styles and am back here cause I miss him and I might never meet him but the way he gets me through tough times is magical. Thanks Harry love you Stay safe and happy.
kira I know, like pleeeease! I would pay good money for that! His voice would seriously be so good for like an audiobook for when you need to sleep or when you’re feeling anxious 😱 I swear to god, his voice relaxes me so much
His name is Zane Lowe and I haven't watched one bad interview of him. He is extremely intelligent and human. Can't recommend his other interviews enough.
I just wanna thank everyone involved in choosing the questions for this interview, I'm sure it was refreshing for Harry to actually talk about his music and not about women
Messylin everyone always thinks that artists are in it for the money. not the passion they feel. which is a lie for many including harry. he loves making music and loves his job. not for the money. get off his ass
Tbh I know Tuscany and LA have completely different cultures, but LA feels like a watered down American version of Italy. Italy hits the spot of the song in terms of context and visuals.
I’ve always had respect for Harry Styles, but after listening to this interview I have even more respect. He is so genuine and kind. Also Zane is unlike any interviewer, he makes the person he is interviewing feel so comfortable.
