First off, ladder 4 has their front line rig back!!!!! Well actually, it's ladder 2's old rig which ladder 4 got when ladder 2 received a new rig. Ladder 4 used to have a hand me down rig from ladder 3 that was deemed no longer usable well over 6 months ago. During those 6 + months, they had been using an old spare until they received that hand me down from ladder 2. This is now their front line rig. Moving on, ladder 5 was at station 14 for refuel when the alarm came in. I heard the call being transmitted to dispatch as they were radioing another unit. That's how I managed to capture all of the tones going off. Finally, the use of Q & air horns is just outstanding! The call ended up being food on the stove with a light haze of smoke, which canceled most of the units just minutes after arriving on scene.
