Today on Hangin With Harv, we're going to fabricate the contraption that will turn the ultimate chicken coop and run into a chicken tractor. I've seen many ways people have made their coops mobile, but I have never seen one like mine! Love the design Harv! I’m thinking I may need to go the heavy duty route like you did but I have no welding experience. But my coop is almost done but it’s super heavy since I also used 2x4s. Tomorrow I try lifting it with the 2x4 wheel solution I implemented but I’m thinking I’m gonna have to go bigger

Alex Alvarez thanks for the compliment 😀. You could easily use threaded rod and nuts on the bottom to hold the wheels. I’ll have to think of an alternative for how to connect with the jacks. First thought is to go with a jack that doesn’t have a foot on it. Switch to a smaller pipe for the down rod and pin it. The jacks have worked out great for us.

Good build Harv. I need to work harder with my chickens. They've stopped laying again and I think I need to let them out of the fence they're in without my german shepherds killing them.
