Finished the spring oats @ farm 2 and started the wheat with the John Deere T670i also carted some wheat back to farm 1 so we could dry it.

Our grain dryer pack in yesterdy too! The motor that drives the augher that puts the grain from the dryer to the stroe broke. We had to fill the dryer, let the dryer unload in the same dryer shed,load a tractor and trailer with the dry oats and then cart it around the yard to the grain store. No very effencient!

How's the quality of your wheat? I've heard that in Suffolk some of the wheat is undersized and transparent. There's concern what was harvested for seed Wheat for next year wont germinate properly.

How come you have an air line this year to blow the combine down and not the leaf blower like other years? Is the air line attached to compressor on the combine?

Slows down the amount of crop going into the combine, thus giving the sieves, walkers etc more time to get every grain off of the straw. I think that’s right, correct me if I’m wrong.

its no allowed to treat crops with roundup to make harvest easier here. and i would suggest not to show it, bc people goes nuts after the glyphosate/cancer-discussion

Round up says on the packaging that it causes cancer, why would you spread it on food source. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@@HarryGraham415 its not just the use on food source what is criticized, its the use in general, like the residues of roundup in the ground, in the drinking water and also airdrift. but as later it is used, like make the crop havestable, as more active agent is left.
