We received tons of cold and rain just as the major nectar flow trees (black locust and tulip poplar) started to bloom (usually they don't bloom together). Rains and cold washed out or rotted blooms on the trees. Bees had built up perfectly and then the rains and cold descended for weeks. Total washout going to be feeding as well here in Pennsylvania USA
Always keep your supers covered. It's amazing how quickly the bees can rob out the honey from the supers. Also any dust contamination will act as seed for crystallization. Especially true as it starts getting drier.

That way there's a chance that the police can identify, locate, and arrest the a$$hat that stole from you! Hope your bank at least gives you back what they fraudulently withdrew! Hi, so sorry you got your wallet nicked. Glad you managed to get your cards blocked quickly. As for the honey harvest, very similar story here on the Isle of Wight. I am still feeding some colonies. Hopefully we will have a great summer harvest.
When they have your personal documents, they can withdraw a loan from a bank for quick loans. I hope that doesn't happen because then you will have to pay every month what they stole from you. Naturally, you will have the police report with the date and time as proof, but it is really a big additional problem. Good luck with the harvest and I hope this doesn't happen again.
Yeah the hoops you have to jump through because someone cannot bother to get a real job. Some lessons learned just like the beeyard. So sorry for your "adventure".
So sorry Richard, only hearing your bad news now, used to work in a bank and unfortunately this happens everyday of the week to people, from my time in the bank of the machine was compromised then you should get the money back, if it wasn’t and they used your card and pin then it’ll be more complicated, hopefully though you’ll get it back as that’s a nice chunk of change for anyone
Sadly every big city has it's thieves. Were a couple of weeks behind were we are, but people near the rape have had to get there's extracted quickly as well because of crystallisation.
Sorry to hear another good person being taken advantage of. You feel so violated when this happens and while able to forgive you will never forget. SMH. Freeze your credit so they cannot open up any loans in your name.
