It’s a horrible policy born from a positive intent - however this policy is being abused and twisted by the current administration. Did the Obama administration force mothers to put their babies into car seats in ICE vehicles before doors were slammed in their faces? Did ICE in 2015 take a child next door for an “interview “ only to have the mother hear them scream in terror as they are dragged away to the other side of the country? (Not a facility nearby - Illinois, while they are in Texas or California). This policy was bad before. It’s absolutely heinous and abused now.

Well, give me an argument!

NaThaN - CS:GO Seth at times tries too hard to be funny. While Maher's monologues often appear painfully scripted. Both lack the spontaneity of Trevor. But, then this is just my personal opinion.

Trump gives enough valid reasons to be criticized so when people call him out on stuff he had not a lot to do with it gives his supporters enough ammo to try and invalidate real criticisms

Some people have more bias and a bigger agenda than others, but NOBODY is free from bias and having an agenda.

Trevor has a set of writers, and those writers are monitored by editors, and the editors answer to a company. That company has an agenda. Trevor is just a mouthpiece.

I used to love Colbert. Watched the Colbert report all the time, but he's become completely insufferable. That Trump record he keeps playing got old long ago. He's tollerable on his best nights and annoying and predictable on his worst. I think the last time I actually laughed out loud at his joke was when the Mooch was still in the White House (yes, that week last summer :)).

It still takes courage that most people don't have to say these things... Of course the team behind him seems to be a doing a very good job.

Being able to recognise truths spoken is quite rare for a lot people, regardless of their political affiliation. Also, I don't think that the quality of a journalist/tv host should be judged by how many people he/she upsets or how many feathers he/she ruffles. Just because you upset a lot people with your opinions does not make what you are saying right...

You can't get refugee status just because you live somewhere with an insanely high crime rate, or shit opportunities - you have to prove that your life is in danger due to your race, sex, religion, political views or ideology, or because your country has been ravaged by war or political oppression.

It varies whether they are refugees or not. I think the majority crossing the border or overstaying their visa are not, although I don't have any numbers to back that up.

Do people know you can be a legal permanent immigrant without citizenship ? There's middle ground between being an illegal immigrant and a citizen.

Also you obviously don't know the US immigration system. It's hard for everyone. Obviously harder for citizen of some countries. If you aren't a genius, getting a green card can be a nightmare.

Say you're an American citizen and have a kid. If you commit a crime, you're separated from your kid, and depending on the severity of that crime, you might lose custody. Why should it be different for illegal immigrants? (Keyword: Illegal, as in breaking the law, which is a crime). It doesn't matter if you're in the country for a day, or for 10 years, the law is still the law, and it shouldn't make exceptions.
