Why don't folks on Fox & Friends send their own children and grand-children to the Trump Border Summer Camp? Soccer, field trips, new clothes, good meals, silver cages...

As a mom, I cannot imagine the pain the mothers are going through. Why not return them to their country together - as a family. Wouldn't that be less of a financial drain on the country? This is a form of punishment.

They took the children away and made no records and no way of identification for future reunification??? WTF were they thinking to do with the kids in the first place? Keep them jailed indefinitely?

The sad thing is that, I had forgotten about this until I saw this compilation. Once media coverage dies down on a a particular event, the event is quickly forgotten as if it never happened. The outrage goes away, we FORGET all about it and resume our daily lives despite the fact that these babies and kids are still jailed.

I think the story about detaining children proves that some people are just hypocrites. How come they just care about the rights of a child when it's in the womb but not when it's out. Is life only precious when it's in the womb? And from then on is it to fend for yourself? People who say they are pro life should not only be in favor of keeping something alive in the womb but also making programs and being in favor of programs that help out at risk children because life is precious in all its forms.

This has given me vivid, disturbing nightmares and I feel helpless because I don't know what I can do to help. Caring is not enough.

I didn’t know all this was/is happening. It’s really heartbreaking & outrageous! I can’t imagine getting separated from my children. Children need their parents, they need their love, affection & nurturing & no children can get all these from any materialistic objects. Trump administrations have been unsuccessful catching the terrorist, so they are punishing those hard working people for their failure, people who just want to provide a good life for their family. We should all come together to the streets & protest against this injustice, be a voice for those who have none & put an end to this injustice! ✊✊

They keep on defending the conditions of these cages and diverting from the very real point that these children are being separated from their parents. There is absolutely no empathy in the white house.

The way he said it, " I hate the children being taken away." Means he hates the children that are being taken away. People wanted to hear 'I hate THAT the children are being taken away.' People need to start believing how he says things instead of giving him the benefit of the doubt.

lets go further back, the same thing was done to native americans when whites shipped their children miles away to teach them white history and language and religion . it was for their own good, they were better off. yeah , right. if you do not learn from history you are bound to repeat it, but how many times?

just imagine your own kid get taken away from you and traumatized and came back to you one year later not knowing you and demanding to come to their "new" parents, cause their own are foreign to them

The Taken reference is really interesting. In the movie the guy goes berserk and does a lot of damage to get his daughter back. But people in the US just expect this act of terrorism to go unpunished. Taking the children away for basically forever (won't be reunited due to identification) is terrorism. It was meant to intimidate people. Those children and parents went through a terrible trauma. A lot of people including Trump should go to jail for this atrocity.

I have a strong feeling of dejà vu... weren't these news before the judge ordered them to be reunited? Which they cannot or won't do? Anyway, I think that Trump should be held accountable for breaking human rights laws. Children have their human rights too.

Next time you point the finger at ANY country and say the words "human rights". The only way for you to move forward as a country and regain your place on the world stage is to learn from your mistakes and correct them, making sure they cannot happen again. Cause you've seen how much damage an unfit President can do to your country before he's removed, and it's sometimes on irreversible level. I'm saying it out of concern for you guys, because I know how nationalist you are, how prideful, and 1930 Germany taught us just how bad things can get when you humiliate another country intentionally. This should not happen again, to any country, let alone to the USA. But I'm not pandering to you, I'm not mincing my words or sugarcoating them. Should you fail to do so. Should you stick religiously to your system and not question how to evolve it or improve it, then you're inevitably going to eat dirt for generations to come. Chances are, the path for this is already set and it's already gonna happen, but I have no crystal ball and I can't say for sure. What I CAN say, is that if your system is vulnerable to people like Trump, people like Trump WILL vulnerate it. Maybe even WORSE than Trump, as hard to imagine as it is. And then it won't just be on you guys. It's gonna be on everyone. Being the voters of the "best and most powerful country in the world" as many of you claim USA to be (despite it being an exaggerated claim) means you have THE single biggest responsibility for world peace, or at least one of the biggest.

I’m glad you brought the Japanese concentration camp. I know we were at war with Japan back there...but even at that time was considered an extreme thing to do to our own citizens. So it doesn’t matter how well you made it look like,it still that,a concentration camp. 4:20 the most harrowing thing was a news report i saw on this a while back - where they interviewed a parent whose kid ended up back with her after time in this detention center. And you could hear the kid crying in the back, the mom saying that he often wakes up at night crying and asking her if "she'll leave him again" or something to that effect. As adults, or even teens we're pretty independent, so we forget just how dependent we are on our family and relatives as young children to ground our reality and sense of belonging and self.
