For people asking what happened: - Speedruns are about doing things as fast as posible - The guy in the video kills the first enemy so fast that its like a perfect start - What makes it funny is that he kills him with a throwing knife (bullshit weapon with 0 precision), from very far away, getting a headshot over a pretty big shield and throwing the knife even before the enemy comes in sight (because as the game always starts the same, he knows that the enemy will appear there). 00:28 PD: if you didn't understand the vídeo just make yourself a favour and go play warband. You won't regret
The true end should be the same as old Total War. You conquer every single settlement in the game, to which the game will say "you have won, for no one else can now".
I'll be honest, this was a pretty bad run. You could have saved time in so many places that I'm astonished you decided to call this a speed run. Bad splits and no skill, did you even practice?
For those that don't understand: It's a sandbox game,so you could say you "finish" it when you finish the first mission. But just like richardpashos pointed out, you'd probably have to retire adventure to make it a "proper" finish.
@@lordyasha5944 Except that it's never implied that's the goal of your character, ever. All the game is an "adventure" which might mean doing what you said,or just traveling around making your living as a merchant. Or fighting as a soldier to eradicate a specific faction. It's a sandbox game,it's never implied what the ending is supposed to be.
@@rectaalborween8471 yeah but its what takes longest to do. if u want to make the goal of your character win 1 denar then do it but its not something cool
throwing knives are pretty useless, especially at low levels, as they are almost impossible to hit, he hits him in the head from pretty far away while he had his shield raised
@@TeamWnJ theres no final boss, it's a sandbox game and he beat the literal only mission in it (tutorial). If you haven't played this game, you're missing out.
@@TeamWnJ That's not the only mission, there are loads of missions, but you don't need to do any of them, you can do quests for lots of people to gain money and relation. The game starts with you getting attacked by some thug and then the guild master comes and talks to you and asks if you want a job.
Bro thats messed up.... u repeated it so many times that u dont even give the AI a chance to make it on to the RU-vid screen before he dies.... i feel bad for him... how many times did u kill him over and over to be that fucking good man haha laterz... keep up ya fine work
It's an "open world" army sim basically. You form an army and try to become a king or a vassal or whatever. Get it, it's one of the best games on the planet. And there are so many good mods too. It's basically a perfect game.
it's impossible to instantly kill an npc with a throwing-knife at the start of the game while the npc was raising his shield. It must be a modded legacy M&B client.
People say you're missing out if you don't play Warband. But that's not true at all. It doesn't have a lot of content, honestly, and it has plenty of frustrating moments, mechanics, and glitches. It's a great game, but it's not a masterpiece by any means. It's the kind of game about creating your own story, but it has little to offer for even that, and the mod selection isn't even that great. I still recommend Warband. But it's not a messiah of gaming as is implied.
Yes, the game is very nostalgic. You're allowed to enjoy it, no one is saying you can't. I still love the game to death. But that doesn't mean I can't be mature enough to acknowledge its faults and critically consider the design choices around it. Smh, kids an their nostalgia goggles.
