This interview made me love Hasan Minhaj even more. The way he adoringly looks at his parents and speaks about them shows how close he is to his family and how much his parents mean to him :) Such a talented and humble individual!

Ellen definitely seemed bothered and pretty overmatched by Hasan's personality. At a certain point in the interview I believe she decided that he was right to correct her and she really tried to pronounce his name accurately. Bravo, Hasan. You doing that on Ellen set an example for someone many people with family origins from other countries. She knows that she would be a hypocrite to take offense to your correction. I certainly commend her as well. Ellen is great and she really blesses so many people. I do wish she would use her platform to address more issues of injustice. Not blaming her at all, but I can see benefit coming from that for so many that are oppressed in America.
