I wish this was a recent one. It just snowed the other day and while shoveling my walkway my neighbor came outside (who never shovels her sidewalk) and complained that I didn’t shovel hers and she proceeded to get a shovel and put snow back on my sidewalk. I once was moving into a flat in Germany, taking the room of a girl that was moving out. In German, there's a bit of an overlap with the words "ausziehen" (to move out) and the reflexive verb "sich ausziehen" (to undress). I was offered the room, but at that time my German wasn't so great. I was trying to be gentlemanly, and wished to help out with any heavy lifting. So when I asked her if she needed any help "moving out" ....

I don’t have a twitter account but mine is I was looking out the window and saw my neighbors 3 year old son running unsupervised in their front junkyard without any clothes but cowboy boots and a baseball helmet, all while still rocking that 80s mullet. He jumped on his tricycle and wen for a ride passed my house. #timetomove

In my last apartment I was routinely woken up in the middle of the night from the sound of my upstairs neighbor’s headboard hitting the wall. My dog would bark and growl at him any time it happened. In the morning he would wait for me to take my dog out and he’d come out and ask me for my number and if we could grab coffee sometime. One time I was at a friends late. He and a girl were leaving just as I was parking at the complex. I found another neighbor’s cat under the cars and by the time I caught the cat, and got him home my upstairs neighbor was coming home with a different girl. And you guessed it, he still hit on me the next morning.

We paid upfront for a temporary rental and the owners didn't move out for another 1.5 months so we were forced to co-habitate with them, their stinky dogs and employees coming in and out of the house (every day they kept promising they would be gone so we put up with it for way too long). Then when they finally left, we had to deal with their sick cat who was bleeding and barfing everywhere, we found a notice from the fire department to clean up the yard or get fined (we didn't clean their mess), and when we were actually leaving after only 2.5 months, they asked if their friend could move in before we moved out! Many other things that make you go hmmm happened too, it could seriously be a Netflix short movie special! Talk about No boundaries... worst rental experience ever!
