I'm 50 yrs old. Cancer survivor since 1999. 23 yrs at 1 company driving Tractor trailer for 20+ yrs. Dealing with death of friends, moving away from my parents so I can get out of Connecticut so I can plan my retirement. On May 1st. My 2019 Street glide special engine bit the dust. So I'm fighting back with a lawsuit against Hartford Harley Davidson. I miss riding my bike every moment for the last 5 months. I was hungover and really depressed today. So I drove around blasting hatebreed at full volume screaming they lyrics at myself. Then I went back home with a new head on my shoulders and started over with day 1.
Hatebreed never fails to get me pumped. Might be simplistic, might sound very similar to their other stuff, but who the fuck cares?! There's always a time and a place for Hatebreed!
I play guitar myself and there are times' when I screw up. I love playing this song on my guitar along with To The Threshold, Destroy, Doomsayer, etc. When I get depressed, I play Hatebreed material.

One of the best shows I've been too! Holds a special place in my heart. My future husband was at the show and saw him being wheeled out into an ambulance. I looked at my friend at the time and said "I hope that guy's okay." Fast foward and married for nearly five years and we have a beautiful daughter. who doesn't say metal brings people together?

Been listening to Hatebreed since Rise of Brutality, but this is clearly the song that takes the cake! The chorus of this song has become my hashtag for all my gym checkins! Even when down to less than fumes, this pushes me through! Shit don't get much more real than the words of this song, especially the chorus.
