Thanks man. Good info. I just got my flashpup and pulled it out of the box and it was filthy with gritty machine shop dust and the cocking was crunchy as hell. It cleared up after 20 shots a lil bit. But I want to take it apart and clean it up and give it a adjustment for the bigger slugs I got. And maybe do a lol fine tuning with the orifices and just clean up all the radiaces. Shoots crazy good thou out of the box. Just wanna smooth out the action a lil. Again thanks for your time.
Intristing the Hatsan Bullboss 25cal , comes with a tool to lock hammer from spinning when ajusting the spring , counter clock to increase power same as flash

Now we have adjust the hammer pretty tight in our flash .22 not the qe version and it got crazy and its loud! haha to loud … only get a few mags on a fill. We gonna test it trough a chrony this week but right now it feels that the hammer is overtuned. Feels like the stock transferports can give lots of air without a tweaking. thanks /J

Hi! I like your videos a lot! Specially because you are a “down to earth “ person. You are very talented but humble, you do not have a laboratory but you are very inventive and look for different ways or tools which will give you the same results without having to invest additional money unnecessarily and, you are very practical ! Now I have been studying your videos and asked around questions and received answers about this “Tuning an Air Rifle” . At this time this is my question: Will you clear up that in order to make all this adjustments and measure velocity with a Ballistic Chronometer until you have your rifle tuned up you need to have a Regulator installed ? Watching these videos and some other ones I was under the impression that you can fine tune your rifle just doing all this you do but, I was told that it doesn’t make sense unless you have a Regulator installed. I believe this is the one fact you should stress at the beginning of your series of videos on tuning the rifle. What is your opinion ? Thank you !
Thank you for your comment and watching, ,tuning is just a form of archiving what you want your gun to do for your needs...Do you need a regulator for your gun, no !!! Does it make for a longer and more consistent shot count yes it does, but a gun can be set up just the same unregulated.... At the moment my Flash is unregulated but set up for power low shot count, my flashpup is regulated and set up for mid power and a good shot count , but the same goal in tuning has been applied to both, consistency and accuracy !!! Here is one Important thing Between the 2, In a regulated gun the hammer will hit the same amount of pressure of air every time which does lead to consistency, In unregulated guns hamer witll hit the valve with various amounts of different air pressure every time not being as consistent..... Keep doing research and learning as much as possible about the functions of a regulated and unregulated gun as I have and at one point I was you and asking questions to learn.... Unfortunately the variables are so great this post would be absolutely very long but please ask more questions if you have them in if I did not answer something you asked let me know and I will try to get back to you...

Alright I am at a toss up between the synthetic flashpup and the walther reign. But I like the tunable nature of the flash. I like my shots to be around 800fps. So would that mean I want to make the spring softer than to make it open the valve less with a softer hit.
My hatsun spring hammer is locked up. I tried to follow your video, and was adjusting with an allen wrench the power and fps. for some reason it got locked up, and now I cant move the cocking lever. I'm not sure what happened. Do you know why the hammer spring and cocking lever would lock up on me///?? I really need your expertise and help. Thanks!!
To your point on boogering up the set screw. I tried to adjust my hammer spring in my Vectis from Hatsan,and lo n behold I couldn't give it but a quarter turn EITHER way. So I turned it until I was able to get it out and found FROM factory 2 spots in the threaded set screw COMPLETELY smashed from what can figure their own setting the hammer spring. So I took a diamond triangle needle file did some thread clean up and it turns very smooth now. I found 3 spacers in my hammer spring set up I have them all,gonna be interesting when I put in the regulator from Huma to see how the rifle performs. Hopefully the boogered up set screw that puts pressure on spring didn't do any damages to the internals of where it goes, seems to thread in fine but will see. When I put it back in I counted 11 full turns without spacers,that sound about right? Any suggestions/tips?
They are removable with three set screws but have to remove the stock.... what they are referring to is the at44 cylinder just unscrews from the gun and can be replaced with another cylinder... I have already disassembled my cylinder and have added a regulator
I actually still have the bearing installed in mind which is .090 sorry I don't know what that's equivalent in metric, you will have to experiment but other people have said 4 turns out works great for them you will have to experiment
Can you go to the begining and show first removing the set screw, then backing out that part on the back in front of the part you show with the spring.
I have Hatsan flash 101 and I think my hammer spring is shortened. Because there is a noise in the rifle when I swing the gun back and forth. I think the hammer has a travel. Or should I increase the pressure?
I added a huma Regulator to my 22 cal Flash pup. I set the regulator to 150 psi Then i tested it with 14.3 gr pellets. I ended up with an average of 862 fps and 23 ft.lb Of energy over a 28 shot string. I was expecting much higher velocity then that I think it maxes out at 170PSI If I go to the Max is it going to give me much of a difference or do I need to increase the hammer spring as well. My goal is to try 20 -28 gr slugs Weather is much speed as I can shoot accurately for small game or varments
Just wanted to say man I love your channel I have a quick question my son dropped my 25 flash pup yesterday and broke my cocking arm I was wondering does that just screw in to that slide ? You took both parts out on this video the one piece had that hook when this broke mine has a round ball that you grab to cock it and it broke right right at slit I can still grab it with needle nose but what I was asking does that screw right in to that slide rod I’m just not sure hope you can help thanks
Hey brother, I need some help here... Is it possible to change the flashpup cylinder using the BT65 255cc reservoir, thus increasing its autonomy and power? Are they fully compatible or some machining is needed?
Unfortunately it will most likely not fit they change the tube and barrel design, I wanted to use my longer AT44-QE long barrel on my my flash for more power but not compatible .... You could always try but that would be the only way to absolutely know...
I'm not really intrested in the gauntlet in .25, my flash & flashpup I'm much better said up for hunting which is what I got them for I will get the gauntlet in 22 for A great Target gun... But I have been watching some videos in the gauntlet in 25 does look amazing
How do I get the bullboss hammer out? Is it similar in procedure? I ask, due to my hammer getting stuck in mid cock and will not go full back to lock in place.
