Much better to file groove in cylinder threads with small notch on tank. Learned this the hard way on my 2 AT44s but gave much better performance vs gap technique.

The threads on the airtube plug are loose enough to pass through a small leak. The gap also works on the CZ 200 airtube, where the thread is much finer and more accurate. Groove is of course also a possible solution, but most users do not have this option.

With regulator altaros, how many shots gives per fill? With only regulated spring 45 shots per fill to 870 fps.

What bar would be appx 12 fpe for a flashpup in 177? Thank you.

Generally we recommend a regulator outlet pressure of about 100bar for 12ft / 16J

@@AirgunRegulator thank you! Does your regulator fit the hatsa. Flashpup synthetic? I've heard ID of the synthetic is different than the wood. Thank you again!

@@Gunner-ll1zd in general, it is best to make measurements. Of course we offer the option of returning the regulator and refund if there is a problem with attachment.

How would I know what pressure to set to? I am guessing I would have to find the most accurate pellet and the pressure sweet spot for it and set the reg to that?

Basic output pressure is recommended according to the actual power. more accurate determination can be made at the base of the sent measurement via a chronometer with continuous recording of airtube pressure.

Greetings sharpshooters, please, can I know your experiences? I made everything according to this video but if I take off that "O ring" and leave there that gap for regulator/atmosphere contact I'm loosing air from airtube. What I did wrong please?

Pleas write to our email, where we can send detailed instructions. Most likely, the regulator was not in permanent contact with the plug that was screwed into the airtube during installation.

Can a air gauge be add to the fill end so you know how much pressure is in the cylinder ?

@@AirgunRegulator Yes that looks like it . I have the Hatsan Hydra how do I know which one will fit the cylinder they put on it ? I looked on the web site and it doesn't list the hatsan hydra under the regulators for the regulator or the quickfill with the gauge . Can you find out w which one I need to get ?

@@Sertao2013 please write the inner diameter of the airtube to altaros@altaros.cz . If the inside diameter is 26.5mm then it should be usable .

no, the regulator generally does not increase the muzzle velocity, but improves the consistency of the muzzle velocity, which is especially evident when shooting at longer distances.

The gap is used for the supply of atmospheric air. At this point, the seal takes over the o-ring on the regulator

i'm very new to this and not sure if i understand all of regulator stuff, gotta ask what I got from the video, is if i do want to know if my rifle is installed with regulator or not. I can notice the different via "pressure gauge" on handpump/electric pump vs pressure gauge on rifle cylinder correct? since i can only know if the rifle been filled by check the gauge on the pump. but not one on the rifle (since it only regulated).

I'm not entirely sure what exactly you're asking. Therefore, I will answer more generally. If a regulator is installed in the rifle, the manometer on the rifle will show a constant pressure (other than on the manometer of the pump or bottle). this cannot be unfortunately answered because it depends on much more variables such as actual power, caliber and rifle tuning.
