I tell my children this story often to remind them where we come from. 🧡

As my mother always said, it was the muskrat and that is why I've been affectionately called muskrat by my family my entire life.

We need more like this, Native stories from Native producers.

Well I wonder if that story has something to do with the Mojave twins. Interesting story

I have a question; the way you pronounce Haudenosaunee ... sounds very similar to how Shoshoni is pronounced. Is there a link there, or a reason they sound similar on the endings? And did Haudenosaunee used to have strawberry patches in their yards around the lodges?
