As bad as the AI seems to be in the game, it is pretty realistic to what we deal with while driving real truck... the "why are you doing that" phase is said several times an hour.
the dirt drivers getting upset bc they cant use dirt cars could just use the leave if you want dirt cars go to dirt cars if you want stock cars then go to stock cars that simple course the dirt drivers are going to be mad bc the cars aren't meant for the dirt when they have literally made a whole seperate car for each surface god its annoying to hear them complaining when this is one of the better races of the year
I agree with you Jeff I like racing in the dirt and some of what NASCAR is doing, but there’s no denying that while F1 ratings and attendance are breaking records, NASCAR seems to be drifting farther into obscurity. Hopefully this season more people will watch!
Now that a beautiful W900! Not as beautiful as your wife tho! (Jk nothing weird) Thanks for the ATS upload Jeff! You're the most underrated youtuber in my opinion. Always good quality, Good games, Good conversation, Long video, You deserve 2million subs. and I've been following for 3 years now. i've never been disappointed in one of you're video. Keep it up!
Jeff is on a roll with the uploads… Thanks for keeping us entertained! I guess that guy in the comment of yesterdays video got his wish granted, a new ATS video! All that’s missing is some OCRP with the gang!
I think NASCAR plus is exactly what they freaking need but not just for NASCAR ... I think they should partner with IndyCar and just do like a Motorsports streaming service
(this is going to be a mouth full) the thing with nascar, coming from a kid who grew up with a dad who loves nascar but don't like it that much myself, is the sport is pure knowledge based, there's almost no entertainment value especially at the track unless you know what is happening. all you see is cars going in a circle and not them fighting for grip, strategizing etc. vs something like f1 where you see this massive growth in fan base from people who know absolutely nothing about racing cause of the entertainment value. you have netflix making this over dramatized reality tv show, you have the exclusivity of the tickets being like $1000, you have the storytelling from the very good announcers who make you feel like you're in the race yourself, and the shiere speed at which those cars go through corners, it is absolutely mind boggling to see in person, i think if nascar really played into that overdramatized side, making it feel super wild, they would have something amazing on their hands, kind of like what they do with the radioactive stuff, it's very entertaining, they just need to play into that a lot more.
why would anyone ever care about “engine damage” on a fake truck? that just sounds stupid, like, do you even see what you’re typing? or what you’re looking at? even then, not your save, shouldn’t be your problem, shouldn’t even be complaining about “300 rpm”. it’s a FAKE TRUCK dingus. edit: you guys in the comments complaining about this stupid stuff just sound brainless and it’s absolutely hilarious
You aren't over 12 foot wide and don't have 10 foot or more hanging off the back of the trailer, so no pilot car. And you would be hard pressed to find two truck drivers that agree on anything, including the time.
Hey!! How's it going I was wondering where u got steering wheel and shifter I am 14 and have been floating through my dads semi gears but this would be very good practice!!
Haven't watched much nascar in ages. Firstly, they don't have a streaming service?! That's insane for such a huge sport in 2022. And honestly, the bristol dirt race is something i'll probably actually tune in to for something different.
Yeah, I bet the Montana DLC will be coming out by the end of summer. On the ATS Texas DLC website, they have 38 planned announcements/upcoming news items listed, and there have only been 4 published so far, so there are still 34 teasers/announcements to go before they'll be ready to release Texas. I reckon it'll be at least Christmas/early 2023 before Texas is ready to be released, if not later. SCS says it's by far the biggest project they've done, and it's basically as much work as all the other states combined. I also reckon it will cost at least $15-$20 vs the normal $11.99 for the previous state DLCs, due to how much work has been involved and how big of a playable area it will be.
The rear vehicle had its flashers on, which happens when there's been an accident. I'd guess the vehicles may have collided when they first spawned in... I see such things once in a while in ATS & ETS2, usually at merge points.
Funny you say youve had people complaining about you shifting at certain RPM ranges, well, ive driven older and newer Freightliner Cascadia's in person recently (automatic only unfortunately) and in lower gears it has shifted above 2000 RPM from dead stop. So unless they are driving much older rigs, ive had zero issues so far being inside newer tractors.
I believe the 3406E is one of Zeemod's G1 engines, so it hasn't been updated to the latest changes scs made with 1.43. All of his G1 and G2 engines will sound a bit different or seem quieter than his newer ones. Different equipment too. Still loved the vid!
i truthfully think nascar should NOT have a dirt bristol race. go to an actual dirt track! go through all the work of adding dirt, and then take it back to concrete. seems like too much work. and it takes away one of the pavement races on ONE OF THE BEST TRACKS OF THE SEASON!!!
Glad to watch your videos again Jeff, plus I due miss watching NASCAR since I don’t have TV service anymore. Daytona 500 also made its return to GT7 and has a SpaceX Easter egg.
Im VERY BEGINNER and absolutely NOT tech savvy nor rich could really use a mentor for this game been awhile like 2years since I played really love and appreciate all the work and time you put into the videos thank you
My opinion on the Bristol dirt race, is that #1, driver safety. They can't see. It's a dust bowl. And fans for all kinds of dust in their eyes. Granted that may change with them doing it at night this weekend. So we'll see. Also, if they wanted to do a dirt race, then go to an actual dirt track. Eldora, Knoxville, etc. Plenty to choose from. Racing at bristol on concrete was doing just fine. Again, in my opinion.
I like seeing that AI PAM truck at 3:35. That's actually who I drive for but I drive a black 2019 Pete 579 and I'm just sitting here waiting to drop my load off but it's not open on the weekends so I made no money today and once I drop it off I gotta do my 34 hour reset so this next check is gonna hurt lol
I'm not sure if you are still in Florida, but regardless I was wondering what you think of Cletus McFarland. I think his next Freedom 500 series race is in Bristol tho I may be wrong.
Man I would love to get a set up like that right now I play this game on my Alienware x17 with a Xbox controller haha, in a few months am gonna have a actual computer desk, right now I have lap desk for my layzboy
Your channel are so old what i mean old, your First video upload is 14 years ago and now i am 13 years old your channel created when i was not born yet and i was born at 2009 respect even though your channel created 14 years ago but you still uploading video😎 My English are bad so yeah im sorry about that
How do you get the graphics this good? I have all the settings maxed out on my Gs66 stealth with the rtx2060 card. Runs super smooth just not this clear
Ive been seeing the same thing in ATS and the AI are basically broken and off there track path and I have had a couple cut me off and even dead stop in front of me. These updates are breaking the AI traffic behavior. as I can see in the road construction part a sliver of the trailer was in the oncoming lane and as you can see they broke and froze like Jeff took the entire lane when he didn't. Keep up the great videos.
I just want to know how do you adjust the high maybe low sounds of the jake brake on ATS because I like Thor's different noises if anyone knows please let me know
Nascar is a dead sport and only ppl can blame the ppl who formed Nascar for all the bs in Nascar now days and the new generation car sucks and it's not worth watching just like any other professional sports on TV now days it's all become woke bs and society is tired of professional athletes thinking what they got to say is so important but nobody else that criticizes them is wrong and even on social media its become a major censorship on wokness bc if u public disagree with someone u are considered a racist person or something else and society has had enough of that bs and that's why professional sports are on the decline on ppl attentioning events or even watching it on TV
Another great video and that's one beautiful truck and driving down that road with the beach that part was so beautiful anyways I enjoyed the video and keep up the great work man much love to ya Jeff have s good one take care God bless and I will see ya on the next one see ya later
yo can i come on an escort with you in ets2 one day? i have over a billion dollars on that account (and yes i used a mod for it because im purely lazy) but anyways hope to drive with you soon! my steam name's corn god
Im wondering Are the towns replicated from real life? And could you maybe do a run to redding from somewhere north? Im not too smart about ats so i apologize
I've seen Richard petty and some other nascar drivers race at one of the local dirt tracks near to me they literally got paid like $500+ dollars for each minute they raced
my only problem with bristol is these new cars. on a normal track they get so damn loose on a corner for no reason. I think its going to be a wreckfest
I really enjoy your vidz Jeff, keep up the good work. Just a little tip if your interested when driving trucks especially with long trailers and getting around tight corners to your right (refferring to corner @ 31:30)... Instead of starting the turn in the right lane go into the left lane about 70% enough to block both lanes and after the green about 2x car lengths back from the lights go completely into the left lane then start your turn as late as possible that way when you turn you won't have a need to cross over into oncoming traffic and you should be able to sneak around there without any hassle. Just a little tip but either way you drive as you please it's still very entertaining and love the commentary with your thought process really makes the vid. 😀
Technically, that is an illegal turn. It is not a good idea to get in the habit of doing it. And yes, I know it makes more sense to do it like that when driving, but if anyone does try cutting off to the right and hits you, you are the one that will be in trouble for an illegal turn.
@@Bendigo1 I should mention I'm in Australia and as per our law it's not an illegal turn, we have signs on the back of all trucks n trailers saying "do not overtake while turning". I do understand this game is based off America and I do not know the law over there soo I have no argument with your comment just purely trying to give a little helpful advice. 🙂 Interesting to know that's its illegal to do it over there and makes it very difficult for trucks to get around tight corners like this one.
