Getting huge furniture into the bush of Alaska is not easy. Over the years a few sofas and chairs have been flown in or hauled in on the freight trail. The main living room furniture in the lodge was some stuff Alyssa and Zac bought over 13 years ago, and honestly, we're surprised it's lasted this long!
We are definitely excited to have new, rustic furniture in the lodge living room.
The Snowmobiles have been giving us troubles as of late....what else is new... Good thing Joe keeps a cool head and digs in to figure out what's wrong and, most of the time, how to fix it.
Lodge bookings are looking good for this summer and that's keeping Zac busy, so it's nice that both brothers have their strengths. It's always been about team work out here.

Love the drone shots of returning sleds. And cauliflower rice is an easy add to a Mexican casserole. Makes it low carb.

Alyssa and Bonnie use cauliflower rice in everything! They use rice for us...we thrive on carbs. 😄

What!?! This was strictly an episode about fun and relaxation. 😏 It's good for us to always have something to do. Bored and lazy isn't good.

We definitely need to get Joe a shirt that says "Jerry Rig Manufacturing." Over the past 10 years, he's learned a lot about snowmobiles and definitely is the one who keeps all our equipment running.

Wow! That's a huge load! Perfect conditions and nice trail for it. I've never seen a trail with no bumps like that

We always take into account trail conditions before we do big loads. Grooming the trail is so important so we don't break our equipment. The weekend riders mess up the trail, and they think Joe grooms it just for them...

Love the moose and bear furniture. Have a small collection of moose since returning from an Alaska trip.

Yeah, we love it too. It worked out good. The other rustic set had oak leaves and largemouth bass on them. That's not Alaskan at all. 🙂

Genuine question- why do you run a propane freezer during the winter instead of just letting the cold weather freeze everything? Too cold or freezer burn or something? Awesome set up out there and beautiful country! I would live out there in a second.
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS 2 месяца назад
With special meat like moose and bear we just don't want to take that chance. Some days it's -20°, and other days it climbs above freezing. Ya just never know. We'd use the electric one year-round if we had enough solar charge.

@@BRAMANTEBROTHERS Gotcha I didnt realize it got above freezing. I had a moose tenderloin once and it blew me away how good it was.
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS
@BRAMANTEBROTHERS 2 месяца назад
It usually doesn't get above freezing November - March, but we never know. Moose and caribou are good. Elk and bear are amazing! I wish we had elk up here. And bear sausage is so much healthier than whatever they're selling in the stores. We need to figure out bear bacon.
