"I do not like it" ... does not make it illegal ... roadway signs only apply to "motor vehicle drivers in the road" ... he is NOT breaking any laws ... but YOU thin k he should be punished anyway - "because I do not like it when others do that." ... no wonder this country is going down the loo ... I bet ou are a FEMALE , white, milenial .. assuming your are correct ... telling others that you are "breaking the law" .. just because it upsets me .. .is not a reason for punishment ... Showcasing how much of a "upper class tosser" ... you really think you are above ... "everyone else'.
The Velveeta Voldemort is getting indicted now. It is funny for everyone but him🤣🤣🤣 And of course all those Americans who died while he said Covid was a hoax.🤷♀️
Speaking of pockets I would have shouted Donna’s line, I’m in my wedding dress, it doesn’t have pockets! One thing I forgot to ask the maker is to have pockets!
Absolutely love this show! It brightens up the end of my day. I watch it in bed at night to forget the day's horrid news...although lately I watch all the news in bed...when I moan, groan and scream, it's handy to be on a safe surface. Thanks ever so much for bringing it to us!
"It's amazing what you get a round of applause for." Spoken like a true man who never had to contend with a lack of functional pockets, Ian. 🤣 (P.S. I am watching this - well, more like listening to - while sewing a skirt. It's a knockoff of an old RTW one that I love, with one exception: it doesn't have pockets. You bet I put them in the new version!)
As a person born in, raised in, and living in Nevada, I absolutely lost it when she mentioned Nevadans had elected a dead guy. I would like to say that we pronounce it Nevahdah not Nevuhda
It makes me so happy that he's a great representation of American comedy in the UK for so long. The newer American comedians making their way into the panel show environment are often quite poor.
well, this'd be a terrific High School required class... to watch these shows in sequence and then study how much of it was true and how much of it was false. LOL
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !" Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam." Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!" Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..." Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!" Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky." Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction." Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment?"
Is it considered poor taste for Americans to wear the poppy for remembrance? We lost some 200,000 soldiers during WWI, even though our contribution was minimal compared to the UK and France. Until recently we also had a tradition of wearing poppies on Armistice Day. But I've never seen an American panelist wearing a poppy with the Brits.
I for one have been enjoying Biden much more than Trump. Our constitution is still intact. Nobody is expected to swear personal loyalty to a single person as a test for office. That stuff's pretty important. Still, I'd prefer an actual left-leaning candidate for president.
If anyone but Reg had a clue about US politics, the initial 12 minutes might have been somewhat amusing and insightful. The glib contempt demonstrated by the moneyed classes is equally corrosive on both sides of the pond.
🤣 Displaying your ignorance in more ways than one. Hell, half the people there literally know US politics better than the average American-- and not just because the average American would likely fail a modern civics test.
@@ichijofestival2576Indeed, but it wouldn’t be hard. I know far more US geography, politics, literature than the people I met travelling. It’s terrifying how dumb and locked out they are.
