For a long time you have been asking us to combine the comfort of a wedge sole, with the arch support of the 55 last. We have been HARD AT WORK! Many, many prototypes later we are proud to introduce Nicks Arched Wedge option!
We figured out how to build up the arch profile of the HNW last without creating a super chunky sole or having to sand out a ton of material. The Arched Wedge will be available with any wedge sole we offer including the Sierra, 2021, and a few other new exclusive wedge sole options we will have available in the near future!

If I understand correctly, they made the arch support an insert. In other words, instead of gluing and nailing the leather arch between the insole and outsole they glued the arch support to an insert and made the boot on the HNW last(more room than the 55 & 11067).

@@bryanjones9356the HNW does NOT have more room than the 55 and 67. It has a cramped toe box. I owned and sold a pair.

I believe they already have. Doing away with the Mckay stitch sealed the deal. Other brands make a more rugged boot on ky opinion.

What is the actual difference between the Delta Arch boot and one of the insoles? Why not show one of these cut in half as well?

This was a horrendous video. The red shirt guy did a great job describing the issues you faced but... where's the boot? That boot showed, was that the traveler? Or the new delta arch? You don't offer the christy sole anymore so why include it in the video? Is it coming back? How do you include the support on the inside but not make it visible on the outside? A video shouldn't present more questions than it answers. I did order the delta arch in walnut roughout with a celastic toe and my confidence that it will live up to my expectations just plummeted.

Goodness, you make the best boots but your videos always make me want to see the rose anvil video so I get the info I want. Also! Why don't you update RU-vid with videos showing off the seasonal leathers? I would have ordered the prospectors in predator steel but I can't get an accurate picture from 1 or 2 photos from the website. I need a video. Everyone needs a video. Your public relations/ advertising dept looks like it's run by a 17yr old with a mustache.(😂😂). Where's the short guy who put a boot over his whole head like he was a horse? While I'm at it...I need a video comparing the different wedge soles and why the christy was discontinued... the wear durability I can expect, why is better than what other companies offer. Etc.

I have very flat and very wide feet, high arches kill me. I'm not even sure the arch in the HNW last would be low enough.

In order to properly balance the geometry and weight of the wearer (the whole reason why Nicks are so comfortable), they had to develop a new way to construct the arch structure that many desire. Wedge soles do not have the same space between the midsole and insole to build up the arch like a 55 last does, so they found a new way to construct the higher arch while maintaining the balanced weight distribution that makes Nicks boots so desired. While trying different tecniques, they also gleaned how to build an effective insert built special for their HNW last boots to maintain that custom fit/feel. If the square peg does not fit in the round hole, relocate it - that is what they did.
