A really nice bit of gear, and if you can set it up exactly the way you want to suit your needs then all the better. Until you actually have it, you don't realise just how massive a difference a little extra room and a few comforts makes on longer trips. We love our Canter for the same reason.

Nice set up Mate. Obviously not a rock hopper but you’ve got that covered with the race car etc but a fantastic tourer with the comfort of a caravan without needing to tow a big anchor behind you. Enjoy 👍

Good on you for getting a great rig. I know what you mean about the little luxuries. I'm too old to miss out on showers and digging holes in the ground. I've managed to create a setup in a y61 that deals with those issues. So you shouldn't feel as if you are being too indulgent.👍

Wow, 10l/100km without canopy 20l/100km with! Did I hear that right? Sounds like some aerodynamic mods on that canopy might be in order. What a dream machine. Uncle Mike should build these and sell them. They are as close to perfection as is possible in my view. Congrats MadMatt - definitely not a mad decision mate. Very good buy indeed.

Its still a Toyota so thumbs down for that but it is very well set up thats for sure. Something you could live out of for a long time and comfortably.
