My dad also donates blood every 3 months and I will also do it. Donating blood don't just save others life but it save our life too cause it helps to maintain BP, sugar levels etc. so I believe everyone should make a habit of donating blood ( if he/she can) to be healthy and away from diseases
Same!! I also have hemophobia and once I saw blood and LITERALLY fell down and at the back there was a car..I took medication for like 2 years because it hurt me so much!
As an Asthama patient, I am adviced to never donate blood tho my blood type is O+ (which recovers fast) but the docs says that I might start feeling weak more than normal go through n might also suffer a minor asthama attack in the process. Therefore I usually volunteer around such camps which are held in our College. Thatz the bare minimum I can contribute I guess. People with rare blood types should definetly donate blood now and then if you are a healthy person. You never know how important that can be. Few good social deeds before dying should be on everyone's bucket list, is what I believe!
I am also asthmatic & O+. I have been donating blood every 3 - 6 months from the last 9 years, except during the 2 years of covid (2020-2021). Started at the age of 19... currently I'm 28 & have donated blood 15-16 times. Never fainted or felt anything like that. So you too start donating without any fears. Kar ke dekho.... achcha lagta hai. 🙃
I've donated 30+ times.... I'm told I can donate with the interval of 3 months as a rule... just curious to know... which labs allow donations in 2 months?
I posses an O(-)ve blood group. It's rare to have this and barely found in hospitals. I made my first donation in 2016 while I was in my merchant naval academy. Since then I am doing in thrice an year. Voluntary donation does feel great. It brings smile amd comfort to me 😊😊
I donated my blood for the first time on my 18th birthday..... And since that day I donate blood every 3 months...... It'll be my 9th blood donation on my upcoming birthday 😊(June)....
My dad completed his 100th blood donation this week and they gave him an award. I am gonna follow his steps from now on since this year I am turning 18❤
I did it for the first time when i was fasting for navratri on the very 8th day of the fast as an offering from my side to the people in need ❤️ and…. It was dramatic like i puked n all but the feeling after donating… just cant express in words❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes i have, in da 1st & 2nd yr of my college when a blood donation camp was set in our college premises😊 Though i didn't tell to my prnts or bf before donating but i really loved it & want to do more in future❤🥰
I've donated 5 times Donate blood 🩸 And Save life I always feel I wish I could help someone financially but as I'm a lower middle class I always try to help how much I can but when it comes to donating blood I always get ready to help and reach out the very particular person , Always Thankful to God 🙏🏻 "Strength" 🙏🏻❤️
I fainted just by seeing this. I plant trees, feed street animals, help poor people financially and with food whenever i can, i provide emotional support to my friends and family, etc. i promise i am a good person, but when it comes to donating blood, i give up. I cry uncontrollably whenever i have to do a blood test ot take injections. I am mature, i am a grown up. I have tried innumerable times to get over this fear, but i just can't seem to achieve it.
