"you can't ourun an animal" that's false. Humans are not especially fast as animals go, but we have tremendous stamina. Very few predators are endurance runners, and most of them will give up fairly quickly because the energy efficiency of extended chase does not favor them. If you have a lead on a boar, run and don't stop. The animal will tire before you do.

“Chicken cooperative” 😆😆😆

Ah yes, my favorite place to hide from shrapnel is a chicken cooperative.

I was throwing rocks around and messing around with friends when I was seven. We were throwing them at trees in the wood. I accidentally hit a bee hive on a tree and bunch of bees came after me and my friends. I leaned that day I could fly.

Was clearing out my parent's shed just a couple weeks ago, as they were moving, and I disturbed a huge fucking wasps nest. Seeing as I react poorly to wasp stings, (I get violently ill for a day from just one, and do NOT even want to know what a swarm of stings will do to me) I am pretty sure my life could have been at risk then. So needless to say, I noped out of that shed immediately, not even slowing down after failing to duck under the door frame entirely, even though the resulting bash of the head hurt like a bitch, and just sprinted to the house, slamming the sliding glass door of the kitchen shut the moment I was inside. After confirming I was safe, and no wasps got into the house, Mom came into the kitchen, asked me if I was done already, to which I said yes, unless she had a hazmat suit lying around somewhere. When I clarified it was because of wasps, she asked me, "Well, how many were there?" I just kinda stared at her a moment, and asked, "Do you really think I stuck around long enough to count them?"

When I worked at a Six Flags site, on occasion I was the "fire watch" at "main site" (where they set off the fireworks). So, I drive the fire truck out there. They keep the site dark. When the "mortars" come out of the tube they make a LOUD "FOOM!!" sound. I had been instructed that if I hear a "foop" sound, that means it is a "squib round" and rolling around on the ground somewhere (in the complete darkness you can't see-so the safe play is just roll under the truck). I heard a squib round and rolled under the truck. Seconds later the squib also rolled under the truck. I rolled out, jumped up and ran. The round went off under the truck. Thank God it wasn't damaged.

Learn to run. It's one of the most useful skills we can have. I'm 82 and I ran after the mail truck a year ago and caught up with it. Of course the mail truck stops to make deliveries but bypasses some homes.

So as someone who makes and collects blades for outdoors/defense purposes, I have 3 machetes, 1 bowie, 1 combat hatchet and 2 pocket knives in my bedroom alone. In Soviet Russia, home intruders run from person who was upstairs sleeping.

I have a very vague memory of a Coach who let a Crocodile in a pool after the swimmers dove in to motivate them to swim faster... I thought that was pretty wild...

In our city, in the 80's there was a well known homeless man called "The russian", he would chase every kid he found, once he chased my brother and me thru a construction site throwing rocks at us, he cornered us and the only way out was jumping like 10 feet down (I was like 10 my brother like 13), he jumped first, I jumped second while rocks were hitting a couple of feet from my head.

When I was 12 my 12 year old cousin and I went for a hike with our .22 rifles. We were shooting at small targets of opportunity, rocks, knots on trees, etc. We were about two. Miles from my house, in the woods. Suddenly, as we were standing about three feet apart, a bullet whizzed between us. Someone had fired a shot at us! We ran like thieves, as fast as we could, for about half a mile. We told the adults at my house what happened, and they didn’t believe us- one adult said it was probably a bee that flew past us, another suggested it might have a ricochet from one of our shots. It wasn’t. We hadn’t been shooting for several minutes. We never found out who shot at us, but we both knew that it really was a bullet fired at us.

Saying "shark infested waters" is like saying "human infested houses" See how that doesn't make sense?

Every time my sis & I went fishing as kids. We had to cross a cow pasture to get to the pond & there was one bull in there that wanted us dead. (We knew this from his red eyes ) Our beat shot was to wait for him to go to the other end & run for our lives. We usually made it ok

Me and my friends played with wood and a kid yelled at us and threatened us by getting 8th-10th graders with weapons to hurt us. We laughed it off until we saw them, so we all booked it going through the houses. We split from 4 people to 2 people in 2 groups. We ran so fast they could barely catch up. We ran through 1/3 of the neighborhood. before making it to my house, while they were far away.. we rarely went to that place again. we did have a skateboard and hunting knife but there were 4 people vs 7 8th-10th graders. We never saw them again..

When I was in daycare when I was in elementary school, a girl that was younger than me asked me if I wanted to “ see her peepee “ I told her no thanks and that I’ve already seen my twin sisters before and I’m not interested. Well another girl who was my age overheard and in a rage grabbed a pair of the sharpest Victorian style scissors I’ve ever seen and attempted to stab me with them. I ran into the bathroom and pressed against the door as she attempted to get in. They called the cops because it was a no touch daycare, which also meant that they couldn’t save a drowning child ( I almost drowned in their care once) It dawned on me later in life that the only reason she had such a severe reaction to a comment like mine, was if she was being touched by her father. I repressed the memory for soo long but I’m glad I got to work through it.

I forget how old I was exactly (Maybe 8 or 9? Friend is two years younger so she would've been 6 or 7) but as a kid I was playing over at my Best Friend's house across the street when her little brother came out of the house with what looked like a steak knife and started chasing us. Either nobody at Bestie's house noticed or just didn't care so me and my friend booked it across the street to my place and locked the door behind us. I don't think I've ever run that fast in my life, neither before nor since.

Some guy started calling out for my friend that was walking with me, after a min of no response we saw the barrel of a gun. We started running after the bullet went between our heads.

I was pissing off a freeway over pass. Tagged a convertible. Driver was extremely angry. Punch the throttle and cuts off other cars as he makes for the freeway exit. I know I am a dead man if he catches me. My friend and I haul ass on our bikes just as fast as We can go. We Cut threw several dirt lots and over the train tracks where he could not go. Went to my friends house hung out there the rest of the day. Never spoke of it again, until now.

Going to co road 666 in Texas @ midnite YES -idk what it was or what we all saw & heard but there is something out there

Saw a Bison and it's baby. I froze and the bison started getting angry. It charges and I book it in the against direct then run as fast as I can to the road. Buffalo runs after me after hitting a down tree and I end up going between some thick trees and it couldn't get threw. Still hid in the muddy ditch though.

I was once out in public. I saw one of the Kardashian sisters. She was in complete giz withdrawal, it was horrible! She opened spread her legs like her feet were allergic to each other. All the sudden crabs and bits of the herpes virus spread wings and started attacking everyone in site! It was horrible! Everyone was screaming, praying, and yelling save me Lord save me!!!
