Ik ur gonna be shocked, but thats not a manta ray thats a mobular ray. 😂 ik ik i felt the same feeling when i learnt this. You can tell by their mouth shape, mantas have a curved pair.

@@WhiteCloudAffinitywell, in technicality manta rays don't even exist anymore. The manta genus was retired when genetic testing proved close relation to mobular rays, so even the ones that have the mouth at the front and what used to be classified as manta rays are now in the genus mobula. It's so cool when shit happens in fields of science and previous classifications change upon new knowledge, it's just science at work and it's glorious
