Deep Sky Challenge Part Two. Warning this one is difficult. First we will observe the Mice, a pair of colliding galaxies in Coma Berenices, NGC 4676. Since this object is so difficult and requires at least a 10" if not a 12" telescope, I have selected a second object for this challenge that is a little bit easier to see, NGC 5053, globular cluster also in Coma Berenices. NGC is also very faint but can be seen in a 4.5 inch telescope. Let's have a look at the Mice and NGC 5053 in a variety of telescopes ranging from 4.5 inches to 12 inches.
