Have you Forgotten? September 11th Tribute- 9/11 Remembrance

I was in 7th grade. 2nd hour. In the computer lab, playing Neopets with Brittney and Kristen. Mr. Villanova was my teacher and we were in portable 4.
I will never forget.
This was probably the hardest tribute, I've ever made. Emotionally, that is. It was hard just trying to find the pictures..
I'm going to leave comments up for now, but with the recent harassment of my American Soldier videos, I will probably end up having to disable comments. I'm sorry.
Oh, I'd also like to thank "DarkNarutoShinobi" for pretty much infecting this idea into my head.

I was in school. I remember it clearly. The girls were sobbing, crying, and the guys... those of us who didn't cry, we just stared at the tv. We didn't learn English, or math, or science. We learned the horrors of the world. Some of us went home and watched the t.v. some more. I went with my mom to the local American Red Cross and helped send supplies out. 16 years later, I salute the flag of the United States of America and offer a moment of silence for the fallen on that day. For the families. And for the country. 9/11/01 changed the United States. Some may have forgotten. But I don't. I still remember.

I'm a police officer, I was at home on my day off. When the towers fell it hurt because I knew NYFD and NYPD would have gone in. At the time I'd been out of the Army since the 1991 Gulf War. I thought I was too old to go back. I was wrong. I've been to Afghanistan twice since. God Bless America!

I'm 17 and sadly don't remember the day to well, all I remember was not quite grasping it, all I remember was coming home, parents sat to explain it, to help me understand what happened and why we are fighting today, I remember my teacher just stopping instruction, and crying, we didn't know why until he told us. Fight on soldiers, show these horror shows what real terror looks like!
@thecrew3654

+TheFourohsix i totally agree what you say, but we are a world, and human beings. Those terrorists in this world are evil for killings civilians, but they are protecting their countries. when we attacked Isreal (which probably triggered america to be attacked to get american soldiers out of the country) they got mad for us attacking them...... so they attacked us. and so we attacked them, and so on. So if we stop.. they stop. i lost my gran that day on flight 175......

I’ll never forget it. I was there in NYC at ground zero. It was terrible. Beyond words. I made it safely but certain memories are so etched that I still have nightmares this time of year even 21 yrs ago. My son was in school and he’s all grown up now but we still discuss it. The people jumping are still stuck in my mind and I get a stomachache when I remember. I appreciate your lovely, lovely song but it’s so painful & you’re right, it should be shown more often. Things were never the same afterwards.

It was the second week of school, my 8th year of teaching middle school Spanish. We watched all the coverage on TV all day. It was hard with kids asking questions that there just weren’t answers for. I’ll never forget.

My heart is filled with hate for what was done, but love for the victims and heroes of that fateful day. For that day, and months afterward, it felt like the United States were truly united in grief, love and purpose. It shouldn't take something so awful for us to come together. I went to ground zero a few yrs later and visitied the ground zero building that holds pictures and remanents...can NEVER forget the feeling of looking at all those pictures of people who were sooo unlucky to be in there that day. They will NEVER be forgotten.... watching on t.v. was awful but seeing the pictures of loved ones was so much more moving. Bless their mfamilies and friends.

I have not forgotten and I will never forget!!! I'm teaching my daughter about it. She is about to be 9. She's old enough to understand now.

I was 13 years old, and I was in 9th grade when this happened 20 years ago, I remember it very well, when the voice over the intercom came on it just blew me away, and all day we just stopped working on homework or doing something else, and we went home

How can you not feel the tightness in your chest, the tear in your eye, an immediate desire to hug your loved ones and an unending feeling of gratitude to those who dedicate their lives to courage and the protection of our nation and communities. Thank you police, fire, first responders, army, air force, navy, marines, national guard, coast guard......

Ten years later and the pictures still shock me and bring tears to my eyes. I didn't know anyone who was killed on Sept 11th, but I know exactly where I was and what I was doing when the first plane hit. I watched in horror as the second plane hit and then watched as the pentagon burned and then, of course, the news came on about the last plane. A dark day in America's history, but one that should never be forgotten. God Bless the people lost on that day & our soldiers fighting to keep us safe.

I was in the 4th grade at the time. Before i left for school my parents told me to turn on the tv. I will never forget the emotion of "Oh My God" that I felt. The U.S.A will never be the same. God Bless America!

What a video and I will never forget that day. I was a volunteer for our Youth Center in my town when it came over our scanner that they were restricting air travel and thought it was a drill but it wasn't. My husband left the youth center to go home to see what was happening and then came back and told me it was real. Our boss told us to go home that day and I'm grateful he did my thoughts and prayers are with the families who lost loved ones and will always remember.

I will never forget it. I was sitting in my second period history class when the second tower was struck. We watched it on the news. Everytime I see it I cry just thinking of the thousands of people who lost there lives. Those poor people who were on the planes. But those people Pensylvania flight were and are still today hero's. RIP

I am retired Navy and was on the George Washington CVN-73. We went to NYC hours after it happened. I flew in a Helo manning a .50 cal machine gun providing security. The things i saw were very heart wrenching ill NEVER FORGET. I teach my students each year about it 😮‍💨💔

I can’t imagine being at street level in NYC and seeing a commercial jet fly into the WTC. Or being in the towers and seeing a plane come right for you. God, damn. What a terrible day in the history of the United States. RIP to all those who were killed.

I'm a 16-year-old living in the DC Metropolitan area and I remember the day in middle school when I was supposed to deliver a project that was informational and appealed to people using the author's craft techniques. My first attempt got me a solid D-. After a chat with my grandfather who served in WW2, I decided to revamp my project. As a topic I used 9-11 and after a few days, I felt like I was ready. I turned in the new project for a C. About the end of my project, I did a tribute to this song and God Bless The USA. The teacher started crying and excused herself. I got an A
