True teachings. I’ve learned many of these as I grew older and more mature. But I had to understand influences that affected me in my youth, before I had the ability to refute them. They warped my self-image and identity and put me on a relentless quest to find myself.

Thanks for the comment. Becoming a dancer in my midsixties was, well unusual... Stoicism tends to not discount the power and utility of youth. I do find it interesting, that many people are fearful of childhood, as if it was a type of instability, in motion. Sir, my abstract thinking can be annoying, sorry, I'm not picking on you.

It might be: More important to speak the truth, than anything else Boss... it seems, you wrestle with this issue also. Self-confidence tells me not to really care; what might be, agreeable or not, to the external.
